I have version one just waiting to find version 2. Can't wait till it comes out.

The first version was clunky for my running mechanics. Very comfortable for walking, but when I ran it just wasn't smooth for me. I normally get along with Brooks very well but it didn't work. Not sure if I hear anything that changed the clunk

My only complaint with V1 is no Gusseted Tongue. Bothers me when it slides to the left. Even though it looks like V2 still isn't gusseted I'm still excited to try them out. The rocker is perfection especially for walking where most Hoka with the Early Stage Meta Rockers are too aggressive imo. Definitely going to snag a few pairs of the Ghost Max V1 on sale as well as I use them as my work shoe for standing and walking around on concrete for 10hrs. I'd pay $160 if they would just gusset the tongue lol.

I love version one. I've got 3 pairs. Super excited for this new version. Why don't I see this white colorway for pre order?

Sorry but have not personally reviewed. Hurricane is lighter Stack Height: 38mm heel / 32mm forefoot (6mm drop spec) is similar while its platform width is wider : 100mm heel / 88mm midfoot / 125mm forefoot unlike full supercritical foam Max it has a lower level of EVA. Great review! How would you say it compares with the New Balance 1080 v13?

The 1080 v13 is considerably lighter at 9.28 oz / 263g (US9) and has a similar stack height and drop. I found it overly soft with the stretch upper no helping hold and stability. Heavier, steadier, more stable the Max is in a different more recovery to slow run class even if its foam is clearly superior in energy return and fun feel.

Sounds like this is more energetic than the Prima, and maybe the Glycerin thanks to the rocker?

Foam is more energetic than Prima but Prima is an ounce lighter and a faster big shoe. Despite weight prefer Ghost Max 2 to Glycerin.

Hi, is this softer than More V5?

Have you heard anything when the Hoka Bondi 9 will release? I have looked everywhere and I can't find anything. They are due to release a new version of the Bondi soon I would think, since the Bondi 8 has been out since July 2022.

Either would be just fine but v2 would be more energetic due to new foam

Is the width in the midfoot and forfoot wider in comparrison to V1

Yes slighty wider at midfoot with forefoot about the same width but feels higher over the toes for me.

@@RoadTrailRun great to know. I pre ordered them when they were available and am just waiting for shipping in aug. I have had V1 and the wide is way to wide as it over stretches and leaves the shoe floppy in the toe box. Im hoping this V2 is wider than normal so i wont have that excess material creasing in the toe box. thanks for the respons

Our team has More v5 I personally don't have it so can't comment directly but in our written review will. Compared to More v4 absolutely no question for me the Ghost Max 2 is a better option. More energetic foam, smoother rolling more rockered geometry. I do see More v5 has a new rocker geometry which could for sure help.

Easier to transition and superior foam to Shift. Haven’t personally ever tested Hurricane but latest likely closer to Max as no more plastic pieces and inherently stable. Our Hurricane 24 review: www.roadtrailrun.com/2024/07/saucony-hurricane-24-review-3.html
