For Thomas, There definitely are Fall allergies. I double up on Claritin and Flonase every Spring and Fall to avoid the same coughing and congestion problem you have talked about. Highly recommend getting on a daily allergy med for these transitional seasons.
Btw ticks do live in trees. They literally have infrared vision and fall on heat signatures from trees. Scary shit.
