It is the stereotypical Australian accent, and lots of people hear it too. I guess some forget there are people who haven’t heard an authentic accent before. Hearing it in movies is different than how real people speak day to day. Abbreviations and maybe phrases that have a completely different meaning in another language.

I knew this guy for a couple of weeks but in those couple weeks we talked the entire day and we were together everyday and talked about the past and our future and all that shit. Like it doesn't matter how long or short it was!! There was a lot of time spent together and because of that we can catch feelings and thus why we can also suffer emotionally, because a lot of time was spent and for me it was like I made time for him and that can mean something to a person just like how it meant something to Brooke.
