Yes but Lucas was horrible with Brooke ! He hurts her ! He destroyed her with Peyton who was her best friend ! Fortunately, Brooke find someone for her JULIAN !

Okay so basically he liked her friend (Peyton) but the friend was with his rival/half brother. So Brooke started dating Lucas and he ends up cheating on Brooke multiple times with Peyton, her best friend. Brooke and Lucas were supposed to be endgame but the actor/actress got married in real life. They divorced a year later I believe, because he cheated on Brooke (Sophia Bush) with Paris Hilton. And they no longer wanted to play love interest. So he eventually left the show.
