When I was a wee lady, my grandpa and me would go trout fishing when Colorado was far less crowded. We would do really well but when confronted by other fisherman and asked how we did. My grandpa would say it was slow. Me being a little kid I couldn't understand why he wouldn't want to brag about it. Later on I understood why. Point is never give away your secrets.

I fish the same kind of streams in Pennsylvania. Love catching those brook trout. They fight like nobody's business even if they're small. Such a blast!

It was tuff but I found all kinds of good holes for next time!

Warm days the snakes are venturing out here in middle Appalachian mtns already this year . I seen a couple already. Saw a mink yesterday too btw.

Yeap! The wildlife is ready to get out of winter routines and start moving

The fishing around Roanoke has been tuff this spring,5 outings l haveonly caught 6 fish,the bite has been slow,not just for me but for alot fishermen,it will get better l hope.

nice video! but it should not be "suprising" to see trout skidish hence crystal clear stream sunny day and your shadow over them, thats all the reasons to be skidish

One or two fish don’t make a honey hole. Ten or fifteen make a honey hole.
