Thank you for helping these horses. People that abuse any animal does not deserve them.

I am a highly trained computer tech. However, I end up working an over night Security job. I deal with drug addicts. Gang members. And run of the mill criminals. My only down time is when I head to the Building that people board their horses in on the property. The owners say they enjoy my commitment to guarding the horses. I do it cause Someone has to protect them. Their worth protecting. I know how a Mares or even a filly feels about people. People are the dangerous animal not horses. And now you know my story.

A horse breeder I worked for bought many from the auction. He taught me how to bring one to a horse from foal to a horse you can depend on and ride, enjoy or use for a job. I love what you do. THANK YOU

Very sad that so many animals are considered disposable,as if they have no intrinsic value beyond being exploited

So glad that you and other rescues are doing all you can to help these mares. The “Wild West” thing really needs to stop. Breeding horses as if they’re cows means they will get slaughtered just like cows. Which yes, maybe we should rethink also

My parents bred horses, but they only bred them every other year or two.

I understand what you're saying I potentially own I am told nine of them I invested with the person

I really hate breeders. I hate selling animals because of the way SOME breeders treat their mares. I’d rather never sell ANY ANIMALS EVER just to try to save them from that kind of treatment. It just makes me so angry and frustrated, not to mention powerless. How can people be so heartless, so ungrateful to an animal? Who taught us to use things up, then throw them away? Argh! Thank you. I’m going to go calm down and practice my own gratitude for people like yourselves who love and care for those who are used up and thrown away. God knows you’re needed in this world. ❤

People chasing the almight dollar, never caring who or what that does to living things. Glad these girls have champions who get them and care for them

I worked in all kill plants in us, and I got calledto a horse kill and turned around refuse to go in, we have enough kill meat don't need to do that

So sad. 😥

My question is what sets them apart from riding mares if they all start out the same level I get some medical conditions set them part but sometimes that’s not always the case and it’s sad either way ❤️🥺

Broodmares should always be halter-broken and saddle-started if the owners care about them- even if you intend to keep them their whole lives, you don't know what your future holds. It sucks that they aren't even taught the basics they would need to land in a decent home at an auction.
