I have to say, I have been loving these past two tutorials. No flashy, pouty intro, just straight into it, where you talk through it to us like we're friends. At least for me, it feels so much more relatable and satisfying. Especially because this way you can really take your time to explain your technique which is what I'm dying to learn, and not have to rush because the next shot came in. Hope this helps!

Jaclyn, I'm a stay at home Mom after having worked since I was 16 and have had 8 kids. One of my daughters told me I should watch your videos....and let me say.....I have always worn makeup and used the same make up line since I was 22. You have inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. You are authentic and your enthusiasm is extremely contagious. I love the new products I have tried (thanks to you), and have incorporated my old school items with the new and I have never been more happy with my makeup looks. Like seriously, I'm 39 years old and walked into a Sephora for the first time in my life 1.5 years ago. I'm a die hard fan for your videos and appreciate you taking time to spend with us. Keep it up and look forward to more talk throughs. Also, could you do a "Reaction to my first video" video? Another good video would be how to create a crease on someone with hooded eyes (like me)? I am never bored or bothered with the length of the videos like with some other KZreadrs who ramble on about nothing as if it is something. Also love it when the mistake isn't edited out so I can learn how to correct the mistakes should I need to.

oliviastrology she has mentioned in older videos she isn't in love with Naked Palettes. She tried doing a full tutorial using one of the Naked Palette but ending up subbing colors because they don't have the shades she is attracted too. I wondered the same though until I watched that video of hers.

Khloe Kardashian said something in an interview once that I absolutely loved regarding people's appearance. She said growing up whenever she had to describe someone, her parents told her she couldn't use their weight/size or their skin color as a description. That they had to find other positive ways to describe someone. I haven't ever forgotten that and I think it's awesome. I can't even remember what interview it was in, but totally makes me think of what you're saying about people picking on other's appearances. It's so rude and inconsiderate.

And I really want to know more about the procudures. I don't see a problem in sharing your experience with other people who trust you. Why is @Jaclynrhill not vulnerable? The comments on some of these videos are so nasty it makes me mad. She talked about having just woken up and being swollen in the beginning of yesterday's video, and yet people couldnt help but to comment on the puffiness (which I barely noticed). How that evolved into her getting fillers and lying about it kills me. I remember a few months ago Jaclyn did a favorites video and some of the products were pricey and people were raging out on her because they couldn't afford the products. So what? She's been working for years and if she's at a point where she can afford these pricier items, she should be able to treat herself without everyone judging her. Its ridiculous!

And then we have people like me who really likes her and we would really appreciate her giving us some info (because we are curious). But I guess it's all about culture issues. I am from Southern Europe and the people here are more willing to share their expertise with others. :)

I think it would be so fun to see a video where you do your mom's makeup! Just to see a perspective on a 'how to' for more mature skin 👍🏼 Love you!!!!

So I love the new chatty, no glittery background and hope that you will film more now that you have a new camera. Also, people are just plain rude so you keep being you boo. Jaclyn, I definitely LOVE when you do talk through's because honestly it seems like we get to sit down and hang out with you almost. When you do voice overs I've noticed you can be very to the point. When you sit down and talk it feels so much more of a personal level! That's why I think so many people are LOVING it. Not saying you need to do this all the time we still love your voice overs! I'm a newbie to makeup vids, but darlin' I've been obsessed with watching to get fresh ideas and tips on makeup for the last few weeks. I've never commented on anyone's content before now, but I've devoured your channel like a kid in a candy store. I'd been in a rut as far as my makeup goes and needed to switch things up. Now I'm a mature woman,and probably old enough to be your ...cool af aunt :). My skin tone is more olive than yours, but you've given me some great ideas and tricks to try, so I thank you for the inspiration. Your joy for life and your love of makeup shines through in each video I've watched, even when you've been sadder with all the hate directed towards you. We all have our ups and downs and frankly I applaud anyone willing to put their naked face on film for all to see and judge. You're beautiful and fun and the most entertaining makeup artist I've watched, bar none. Considering you've mentioned you've gained weight (and honey, there isn't a soul alive who hasn't been judged and found wanting because of something as normal as weight gain or loss), I would be fascinated to get some tutorials or tips dealing with contouring a rounder face, which I definitely have. Since I've turned this into a big advice post, let me just say that people who love you will love you through thick and thin, because even with our love of makeup, it's truly what's inside that will matter at the end of the day. Her skin is flawless and her routine is amazing. However, keep in mind that her skin and your skin are most likely different. Find a routine tailored to you. She did make a skincare routine video a little while ago if you are interested though. Make sure you find what will work for you and your needs though! :)

ALSOOOOOO.....she gets all kinds of procedures done on her skin, too! Never ever underestimate the power of regular facials (expensive facials using only the highest of highest end products) and peels and injections, etc etc etc. Aaaaaall of that makes a HUGE difference in skin. So, unfortunately, it's not just about what moisturizer you use or don't use. There is sooooo much more to her "skincare" routine. Much more than the average person can (probably) afford OR has time for. Just something to keep in mind.....

You should do the video where your husband goes into sephora and has to buy every product he thinks you would do your makeup with and then you show us how you do it only using the products he picks out with no help!

I totally agree! i didn't mind at first (majority of beauty youtubers) but the intros got longer and longer....i started to skip those because there would be another at the end of the video.

This eye look is seriously the best I've seen in Forever!!! You're amazingly gorgeous per usual! I dont know about that highlight yet.. seemed to show a lot of texture. 💜

I adore all your videos so you could probably do nothing wrong in my eyes but....the way you blend the colours is just heavenly. You use so many shades, like not just one, two, three or even four, and the technique you use is simply divine. The outcome is the best. It's beyond me that you haven't always been the most sought after makeup artist in the country. I understand you've had ups and downs but am so happy for you that you've found the notoriety that you so deserve. xoxoxoxo 😘😘
