The only real reason I wouldn't compare Pony Life to TTG is because at least with Friendship is magic it got a proper series finale prior to getting a weird comedy spinoff , something that Teen Titans wasn't fortunate enough of getting.

Half a year later, and I can fully say that I actually really enjoyed the first season of Pony Life, and I’m really liking season 2 so far as well.

The "Rarity summoning a fainting couch" gag was in Friendship is Magic too. It was just more subtle. Just like everything else compared to this show.

Yeah. The humor was subtle, and things got better and better as time went on. The characters, the stories, the lessons, and the humor were all wonderful. But here, it's like they focused on the humor part while making everything else 2nd in priority. And it really shows.

Pinkie: "What if she exploded, and then... and then exploded *again!* " Spike: "Can you do that? Can you explode twice?" According to 10:30 and 36:04, yes. Yes, you can.

What made MLP so popular within the older audiences was because it was one of those cartoons that actually had an interesting plot behind it that dared to venture to different types of scenes that were darker yet still managed to show the lesson learnt behind those types of scenes. Seeing this cartoon that I grew to admire so much be reduced to these type of filler episodes that are mainly making money off the already popular characters just, breaks my heart.

Personally i don't have a problem with it since the 2 series are completely separate universes if this was part of G4/FIM universe then i would have a problem with the show. I guess it also helped that i went into it with a open mind expecting it to be different and not wanting it to be completely the same. I suppose the 1 problem i have with "Pony life" would be that i wish the episodes were longer but that's just me. And mlp's main purpose was always to make money and sell toys so that is isn't really gonna changed.

For me, Pony Life is basically the Western Animation equivalent of the traditional SD spin offs of popular anime series that was popularized by the SD Gundam specials in the 80s, super deformed versions of recognizable characters but amping some of their traits up to 11. The SD format is pretty big business in Japan especially in the 90s, even Godzilla had an SD anime spin off, which an educational series of shorts targeting a younger audience.

@@zexalcommander7036 Considering what Goldie Delicious is like, I'm willing to bet it's more than just "in-law". Goldie is to Pinkie-y to be less than a biological relation (if that's the case). Then again, I don't quite remember the details of their family tree and how they are supposedly connected. Where does the in-law come in? Because technically cousin-in-law isn't a real thing. I mean, I suppose there is a connection that can be made. But the "in-law" status refers to direct relations of a spouse (parents, children, or siblings). Then again, maybe I'm just thinking too hard about it.

It's just that I think most people just disregard marital relationships beyond immediate family. And if that couple has a child, then the in-law status doesn't apply. Family trees can get really complicated.

It would be funny if at the end of this season you find out that they aren’t the real main six. You find out that this is an alternate dimension that Discord created in his closet for shits and giggles.

This whole teen titans go comparison can just swible up and and burn in a fire. Teen titans go was insulting it’s audiences and by calling them poop and had twerking and toilet jokes that weren’t funny and where just plain insulting and it taught horrible messages and it had episodes that called out the fans and try to excuse their critism. Pony did non of that it didn’t insult the audience, it didn’t call them out, it didn’t call the fandom poop, it didn’t have horrible messages and it didn’t have toilet jokes or twerking that were insulting.

The power puff girls reboot was actually worse than Teen Titans go. Then came Thundercats roar. The thing I wish is that they put heart in the Teen Titans go show, the same heart they put into the movie

So I thought this would break LittleshyFiM but, watching Viva completely fall apart is something I never knew I needed. He makes freakouts look so amazing.

I feel like this is gonna be the type of show where at first we're gonna be like "we're not gonna remember this" and then suddenly 3 years pass and it's already gonna be on it's 4th or 5th season because kids eat it up like Play-Doh.

Fun fact: as you might have noticed, the best recording of this show comes from the Polish channel MiniMini+. As far as I know, it's 1080i (definitely 1920x1080 something). But it came months after the Treehouse version, so not everyone is aware of that. A logoless version is available on their streaming service, but it's protected by good DRM's.

This just reminds me of when Attack on Titan: Junior High was created. A in-between show for the people waiting for then next seasons.

Rarity's fainting couch is like Optimus Prime's trailer in Transformers G1.

Later in the show, Potion Nova says that she had made potion prototypes. My theory is that Fluttershy drank one of those potions, and it was meant to temporarily give the drinker the ability to change size at will, but instead it became permanent. That’s my explanation for Fluttershy’s size-changing ability.

Happy 10th anniversary to MLP Season 1 Episode 5: Griffin The Brush-Off!

It's Cool... Pony life is simply Loony-Toons with Ponies... It's fast paced (Under 7 minutes for the most part)... Whimsical, never taking itself serious... The characters personalities are different to G4 (except Pinkie)... It's basically everything Tex Avery would love, (minus the Risqué innuendo)...

The idea of this being how Pinkie sees the world is my favorite head cannon so far.

I died inside every time someone said “at the next convention” I don’t know if conventions are ever gonna come back.

10:30 This is a proof that this whole set-up of so-called G4.5 is a dream of one of the pinkie clone who got escaped when she's high.

I can see why people don't like this spin-off as it's very fast-paced. It keeps moving and doesn't linger too long on stuff, even when it should here and there so that it's easier to follow. It gives off the impression that it knows it's gonna get crazy and runs with it. For me, it's simple fun you can watch when you're bored. As for the reactions, I love them. Especially Silver Quill's (which is also the thumbnail), that had me laughing good! Great to see you guys again and hope to see more!

ok. i've been following PonyLife thru DrWolf. And i think they made AJ into the 4th wall breaker because she's the pony of honesty. so breaking the wall is she being able to be honest and -- literally -- direct with us or saying the frank truth to us... quasi to what the greek chorus would do in an olde school play..

Got in MLP back when I was a kid. Always knew it had the potential to be big despite those puky remakes til Laura Faust made magic with FIM and I was on board since it began for it's interesting plot, relatable lessons learned, character growth and the community is just amazing. Nice to see you guys react again!

My headcanon is that Pony life exists in that short few seconds in which pinkie pie had all of discords magic at her disposal in the penultimate episode.

Not going to lie you channel coming back is one of the good things to happen in 2020. I missed you guys.

omg me too! that was such a good special. which character from that was your favorite? mine was kerfuffle (i think that was her name, it’s been a while since i’ve watched the special, but i could be wrong about the name, she was the pony with a wooden leg)

I'm so happy that the reacts haven't ended!

Pony Life is eerily similar to that MLP reference show that Raven would occasionally watch in TTG. What was it called, oh yeah, "Pretty Pretty Pegasus." Search it up, the similarities in character design is worrying. It's almost as if Hasbro was inspired by TTG.

If THIS is what the world would have been like in the scenario of Discord's victory...I'm kinda glad that he didn't. This is a fever dream that GAVE ME fever dreams.

I went in with kinda low expectations.. not so much "I'm gonna hate it" low, but more of like "I won't love it". It's definitely better than I was expecting. Though I'm pretty sure they forgot Fluttershy's existence for the first part lol It'll obviously take a little time to adjust to the change, but I'm gonna give Pony Life a chance. If the VAs were different.. that might have changed, and I know I'm not alone there. I mean imma be hella disappointed if the Young 6 aren't in it cuz Gallus is my favourite character-

I discovered Bronies React through this video, and then went back to binge all the previous ones. I'd love to see you all react to the rest of Pony Life, because this is by far one of the funniest videos you've all made.

I like how nearly everyone (especially Viva Reverie) are losing their minds trying to make sense of everything.

Viva’s entire reaction to My Little Pony Life is like watching a very logical person be confronted with the most illogical thing possible and seeing them descend into madness as they try to understand what they’re looking at
