Bromeliads create such beauty to gardens. This one is certainly no exception. The sheer magical look of perfection calls me to keep on looking at it and it stays with me when the video is over.

It all depends on location. Here in NZ many bromeliads can take full sun...some just need a little overhead protection from the harsh midday sun over the peak of summer.

Too many wonderful plants here to name. A few of the stand-outs are the large neoregelia and foliage vriesea that grow well in the New Zealand climate.

Most bromeliads will do best in a high light situation. There are some varieties that will grow in full sun...and toehr that can grow in shade...they are very versitle plants :-)

Bromeliads with color are not expensive...it's when you get into tiger stripes that the cost skyrockets... I guess Zebra Broms are slower growing and not as easy to tissue culture?

It is the typical supply and demand issue. It is often that new "Tiger stripe" bromeialds command the high prices.

@@AndrewDevonshire The best for sale are usually the Brom societies. Pups are affordable. Big plants? Supply and demand! Super easy care in low or coastal California also. Just water.

@@AndrewDevonshire I would personally prefer a commentary, something less high pitched preferably. I suggest something with more rythm but also cozy..(you can vibe with it, but it's also soothing) something that's easy to swallow.
