I remember alot of years ago trying kite surfing at a local windsurfing lake with a modified surfboard and a buggy kite before it was a popular thing, was good fun.

You should try it again, but be sure you take a lesson. It's gotten easier than it was years ago.

I like this craftsmanship, wonderful board, nice construction. I just do not understand how they get the rocker in!

It depends on the rider. These boards are custom. You can order it w/extra layers for added strength, or less for lightness. Either way, they are super strong. Not like wood cores.

Likely! The same might be true with regard to the concave! ;-)

Nice video i like it ... i would like ask you please .. did you use Styro-foam for some parts in ur tutorial video ; the landmarks when you drew the shape and other one the straight piece covered by carbon fiber ..Thanks in advance :)

My guess is they use a rocker table with a board in the center for the concave. Pressure on the sides of the mold which pushes the center of the board down onto the board placed in the center resulting in a concave... that's my guess.

Congratulation! Please a question! Have you tried vacuum resin infusion in your board lamination? Maybe the structure of board is to compicated for infusion? thanks

what material are your molds made of? and is there any prep to the molds before each lay up?

So you don't use steel inserts for the strap screws?? Just tap the core? I make my own boards too, but have no interest in selling them, too much work!
