you can do it! Stick to the songs in the key of C if you're a beginner. They're the easiest! If doing two hands together is too tricky, just do the right hand starting out!

I notice you tuck your right ring finger under when you play. Is that a personal comfort or a key to good technique?

Great question. I’m just doing that for teaching only to remove obstacles so you can see the notes and fingers I’m playing. When playing normal, I leave them all out comfortably.
