A Allen key works great as well Find the size by checking an old plug u can weld a nut to the top of it so that you’re able to use a socket on it. The square sides bore into the round hole of the plug very good !!

Had one snap in an 07 xtrail,almost a disaster,I believe a spiral easy out as shown may spread the remaining plug base.I used a tapered 4 cornered high tensile half inch chis,drilled into remaining porcelain hammered the pin in tight with a lump hammer,pin had a 14ml nut Down the shaft a bit and used a tec gun and appriate socket it came out,however it removed some of the alloy in the cylinder head and the internal thread was damaged,found on the internet a tool that fits down through the head,had to turn the crankshaft to move the piston down then make an adjustment with the tool and it cleans out the thread.worked extremely well.

For a Ford, I'll need to weld an 8 inch extension on it....but I think it'll work. Thanks for the idea!

Hi bro, the same thing happened to me on a vg30 engine Nissan v6. I ordered and easy out set but I'm wondering should I use the square bit or spiral bit?

No. You need to do it by hand real slow.

Go to a hardware store.

From my experience those EZ Out extractors only work good on spark plugs. Real broken bolts n studs that their designed for removing never seem to work out.
