I love how you took a file, something used for getting rid of sharpe edges, and turned it into a pair of scissors. However, when drilling holes, you should put a sort of lubricant on the spot you want to drill at. It makes the process smoother and helps with the overheating. You should be able to search for products online, but i also heard that vegetable oil is a safe alternative.
