When you are re-attaching the half shafts to the engine, you don't need to take the entire wheel off, just undo the middle size 14 bolt. Makes it a lot faster. Still a good tutorial though, good job.

This is the slowest way to that. You can unscrew pistons through oilpan, you need to only remove valve cover, cylinder head and head gasket

I think you're wrong. Have you played recently? The latest release notes says he fixed some assembly order bugs, and I can't seem to loosen them without taking off the oil pan, which requires the removal of the gearbox, which requires removing the engine.

Using the beer case helps alot when putting the engine back it has the right height and width

when you was driving w/no oil, it makes me remember: when i was taking jokke home, i was going hecking fast, that the engine ALMOST blew up, because of high temperature. When i was on the highway, the head gasket failed, oil leaked out. Fortunately, our friend Jouko got home, the car survived, but the ride after the gasket failure was stressing. Fortunately, i made it home.

Yeah haha I was trying a challenge (drive from 200km to 500km on 2 tanks of gas) and I went too hard on it, headgasket blew engine was bone dry of oil and coolant, next thing I know engine throws a rod, stalls. Try to start it up again it runs but doesn’t idle. Since it had lost so much power from no oil and was missing a piston I couldn’t go fast at all. Plus I was trying to keep temp down which was impossible, then the engine makes a clacking noise, nothing. Then a minute later, another clacking noise. Engine had thrown another rod

But I was “missing” a piston so there were three out of the engine, the one had been sitting on my floorboard for weeks because I accidentally teleported it. So yeah I gotta rebuild an engine now!

you didnt actually tighten the wheel at the end. It was still unscrewed i rewatched where you got up and went out of tool mode at .25 speed

Satsuma: i love you oil

Had a loose oil filter, ran it out of oil running down the road, caught on fire and lose a piston, after putting the fire out I then decided to keep on going because it’s too late to turn back now, I somehow lost a second cylinder driving again, and then the third, on the third piston it gave up, but I decided to walk to the shop and get the truck, I got all of my parts (piston 1,2,4, oil pan, and head gasket) pulled the car to the store and rebuilt the entire engine in the parking lot, by far the best yet worst experience I have ever had in this game

But how did you get the tires for the gt wheel?

I dunno if tg changed it or not but I know about a month ago you could just loosen the center nut on the wheel and install the driveshafts without needing to remove the wheel.

If you are driving without oil or with worn oil (change oil every 100km) the pistons will fail much quicker

No, oil goes black every 240. I do it every 250 to keep numbers even. Oh no that reminds me that I was driving 150km on black oil! Eh engine blew up anyways :D

Optirix Gaming Id have to check if there are multiple stages of oil, I change it as soon as it isn’t like new anymore. I’m pretty sure that this happens around 100km, but I’ll check. I write everything into the notebook in-game

Mr. Handy I think it becomes a really dark brown after 100km, or it’s a lighter version of brown but now new brown. Black happened every 240

As extreme racer said. If you have fleetari repair the car he will only put used parts at max 50% life left sometimes way worse. Which means getting brand new parts and doing it yourself means the job doesn't need done again in a day or two

no, he can't, you must remove the broken/worn down parts from the engine and bring them to fleetari, but having fleetari fix anything and everything would take out most of the fun out of the game.
