​@mrpotatohead161 I was so pumped for that at the time, but I remember being severely disappointed. Imo The original Super Troopers was lightning in a bottle. They're all talented dudes, and I've heard decent things about Beerfest (I watched it drunk in the background and therefore can't give it a fair assesment but i remember it seeming long and drawn out, again tho, still need to give it a fair shake ) however Club Dread and the Super Troopers sequel etc...just never had that same sort of umph for me. Again tho, I've seen these guys on their own merit in other things and they're fuckign fantastic. This Tacoma FD is news to me, so I'm def giving that a shot. It has great Rotten tomatoes score even, which isn't an easy feet for comedy these days. Either way, Super happy to see these guys do the podcast circuit

@@tophr2710 they had to crowd source to get their last movie greenlit. If they had the credit due, they would’ve been given money to make the movie by the studios. I guarantee you could ask 20 people and only 1 might know who they are if you held up a picture.

@Jamie Sucie if only 1 in 20 knows them, then they have the appropriate amount of success, I guess 🤷‍♂️. As funny as they are, it's not like their movies are "classics," arguably Super Troopers (S.T) might be, but one hit doesn't equal hall of fame or open cheque productions. I love S.T. but imo their other movies aren't anywhere near the same. They're pretty B grade. I am definitely cheering for them. We need more edgy comedy.

Forgot Quasi was coming out, watched it today (STARS on Disney+ in the UK). Some very funny bits and general Broken Lizard silliness throughout. Super Troopers and Beerfest remain their best work, this is up there with Club Dread which I have a massive soft spot for.

Watched Quasi yesterday!!! Its fuckin hilarious, dude! They were not afraid to make the type of jokes that you would not normally see in Hollywood today. The script was hilarious. And some of the one liners literally have you belly laughing for ten minutes. 🤣 shouts out boys. Another classic!!!!

What a great episode! super troopers and beer fest are in my top ten favorite movies even though I haven't seen them in years, i watched Super troopers 2 recently and Tacoma FD and i love these guys and am so happy they are still together and doing well!
