7:52 I love it when a fish is persistent. That (almost) double up was cool. You almost gave me a heart attack popping that lure off the brush! Line tangles on the tip...... GRRRRRR I hate those. You had some great bites despite all the mayhem. hahaha. Thanks for sharing.

Good solid start for sure. I have been burning a white 1/2 chatter bait with a trailer and doing well. Just starting burning them like a trap this spring..who knew..lol I sure look forward to you getting those hooks changed and landing some winning numbers. Go get em girlie..👍

Laughed my butt off at this one bc it reminded me of well me!!! Lol I finished 12th on my bfl today and was catching them on the SB 105 in a marina and I caught every rope and hit every pontoon in it at some point today but I caught a couple 4lb ers to make up for all the mishaps!! Kept grinding!

Even as bad as you looked in the kayak , it was a lot better than I could have done in a kayak. Great video.

You still put together a solid limit. As for the net I see it trying to sink on you when it goes in the water. If it has a cap on the end take it off and stuff some strips of pool noodle inside the handle so it will float next time it falls off the kayak. That saved my net a few times when I lost it. Lost my paddle at Caddo back in April starting to wonder if it sank cause K never found it when I went back looking for it. Might have to put some noodle inside my paddles, too.

Mama said there’d be days like this, yet you still had a good first day finish. Tomorrow will be great 👍🏼.

You have inspired me to buy my first kayak. Mostly a photographer so I appreciate the rod, reel, and bait info. What would be a good technique for a beginner? Flipping is about all I have ever done for bass. Thanks for sharing that you are mortal... lol

That does unfortunately happen to everyone every once in a while and you still ended up in good shape. It was a challenging kayak event with all those trees and buckbrush.

That's the first time I've ever ducked for cover during a fishing video. When you yanked the lure loose about the 12 min. mark and it came flying straight at the lens. Damn close...

OK! I was thinking as Our Girl was getting hung up on a good first cast only to be spoiled by getting hung up and having to go over to the spot you hoped was good only to wreck it to get your bait out of the brush. I feel better now knowing it's not just me. I fish no less than twice per week in way southwestern Illinois (Lake Kinkade, Grassy Crab Orchard, Devels Kitchen and a few more great bass and crappie lakes here out of my Precision Outlaw. I don't think any other fishing youtube channeler is as good as KF!

Try putting one size bigger hooks on your top waters, I have been doing that and my hook up ratio has climbed!!!
