Here on the farm, we believe poultry belong outside on pasture, not stuffed in a windowless barn with 20,000 other birds. We raise and process our own meat birds in order to give them the best life possible and not support the environmental and ethical horror that is factory farming. Today, the young broilers go out on pasture for the first time. In this video, I take you through the process of setting up the mobile chicken tractor and transferring them from the brooder to the pasture. I will post more videos of the broilers as they grow and spend time in the sunshine, pecking at plants and bugs, living their best life.
