About the show:
Published in 1960, Harper Lee’s debut novel To Kill a Mockingbird was an immediate and astonishing success. It won the Pulitzer Prize and quickly became a global phenomenon, with more than 50 million copies in print to date. Considered one of the great classics of modern American literature, the novel has never been out of print since its original publication 57 years ago.
Inspired by Lee’s own childhood in Alabama, To Kill a Mockingbird features one of literature’s towering symbols of integrity and righteousness in the character of Atticus Finch, based on Lee’s own father. The character of Scout, based on Lee herself, has come to define youthful innocence-and its inevitable loss-for generation after generation of readers around the world.
In a Library of Congress survey on books that have most affected people’s lives, To Kill a Mockingbird was second only to the Bible. In 1999, American librarians named it the “Best Novel of the Twentieth Century.” Now, for the first time ever, Harper Lee’s open-hearted dissection of justice and tolerance in the American South is brought vividly to life on the Broadway stage.

Just saw the play tonight. I tried very hard to fight off not crying. I was so moved. . I saw a a man holding a rifle and it caught me off guard. I was truly hoping there wasn't going to be any shooting. with the prop gun shooting this past week. Thank you for your courage to put this on stage. Great timing.
I wish I lived on New York to see the play. I love Jeff and I want to live in the Sorkin home.
I read this book by Harper Lee, “To Kill A Mockingbird “ when I was in Grade 4 now I’m 46 years old I couldn’t believed it that they just made a play now?!:-)🇵🇭🇺🇸🇨🇦🌎 I want to see the stage play in person WOW 😲 NOW !!!:-)🇵🇭🇺🇸🇨🇦🌎

They didn't just make it into a play now the asshat producer closed down the previous script version of To Kill a Mocking bird.

If you look at Daniels just prior to the commencement of questions (36:23) while Sorkin was talking, Daniels eyes are closed and appears to be struggling to stay awake ...

If you agree with anything Jeff Daniel's said then you're just as brain washed as he is. There's a reason why the NPC meme is so relevant today.... Because of people like yourself. But of course, anything people like me say or do will always come off as "hostile" to an abortion loving patron like yourself.
