It doesn't feel like he's constantly shouting, like seriously, look at sonic generations, the tone for shouting was just a slightly louder version of the normal voice, which isn't how voices work. The lower the noise, the deeper it is, so going forward, I kinda want both voices, with this one for normal talking and a higher one more like generations and forced for shouting. Obviously, dialogue is more important, so I'm fine of they don't do this, but giving him a range of pitches would help with emphasizing certain lines and matching the tone of the scene, not just the overall story.

It's been taking a bit of getting used to seeing Sonic characters be sincere after so many years of memes, snark, and meta humor, but it's such a breath of fresh air. And I'm happy to see others feel the same way!

Absolutely incredible. I love that Knuckles is more mature now, akin to how everyone's characters got more detailed in the actual game, and his Sonic impression is also deep to match! And now he can finally write Frontiers off as a business expense!

You know what? This was actually really sweet. An emotionally compelling ending to the trilogy.

The final reveal was a great way for sonic to avoid having to deal with the genuine feelings of knuckles, you can really tell that sonic for all his bravado is pretty avoidant and tries to maintain his distance, but knuckles being the dense meathead that he is, can't help but try to barge through those distancing tricks, and manages to express his genuine concern for his friend, despite sonic trying to rouse his anger to avoid having to deal with his sympathy.

This feels long like a parent talk😭

Ian Flynn is gonna have a very hard time trying to surpass a script as perfect as this one.

It's incredible how not only a touching yet completely in character dialogue was born from just a mere few nonsensical lines of a short skit, but also a million other videos based on that first one were as well.

“I was only looking out for myself, i just wasn’t ready to see her grow up.” Hits hard

1:18 That awkward silence between both of them, topped off with the zoom in to their 🤨 and 😏 expressions was so perfectly timed with the dialogue that I'd believe this was the actual game's script 💀

Avoided this because I wanted to beat Frontiers first but this was actually really sincere before the joke and kinda caught me off guard lol. This is great!

The sudden plot twist in the mid-conversation is like how best friends talking to each other. They can be the ones caring for others the most, but also ones with the most "Evil" intention.
