THIS IS A THING NOW. Hope you enjoy the pilot of this little spin-off! I want to make it clear though: in the future, the episodes of this spin-off will be around 5-7 minutes, not this length, I'll keep the 20+ visual stuff for the main TTS episodes. The only reason this one is so long is to more thouroughly establish the characters and the series' concept. And because we keep scripts that are way longer than initially intended and just go with it. It's a bit experimental on all ends, no doubt. Definitely fun to make though. Expect Vulkan, Corax and their merry crusade to go forth and visit many more planets before arriving on Terra!

I was actually wondering if Emperor would ever ask Kitten or anyone else to talk about various regiments or the Imperium. But somehow i just coun't see,that Big E would ever care about them. So I guess this spin off is great alternative to do that because either Vulcan or Corvus are familiar with state of Imperium is right now. BTW I wonder what will happen when they reach Krieg. Empreor had forgiven them so i think Primarch will stumble upon most epic celebratory party of 41st millenium.

I love how all these primarchs think Magnus is some super cunning mastermind who’s secretly taken over the Imperium when in reality he’s just bickering with his paraplegic and slightly senile dad.

Curze’s brand of edginess seems to revolve around being a sadistic fuck obsessed with having others fear him. Also just painfully forced. Corax just seems to be a generally good and noble hearted dude that (understandably given the universe) suffers from chronic depression. In other words, a much more relatable kind of edgy. Disclaimer: most of my 40k knowledge comes from TTS, YT comment sections, and Quora answers. If it seems that my impressions of characters are off then they probably are.

Doomguy 1D4Chan is a good place for general lore/tactics of the chapters. Raven guards revolve around surprise attacks and stealth, hence a stealth doctrine.

@@doomguy1167 As far as the loyal marines go: Ultramarines: rigorous dedication to the codex. Jack of all trades, tactics-focused Imperial Fists: best offense is a good defense. They are masters of establishing forts and defending said forts, and have a propensity for bolters >>>>>Black Templars: focuses on melee, showing the emperor's will VIOLENTLY. Also hate mutants and psykers. (See If the Emperor Had a Podcast episode about black templars) White Scars: HIT THEM HARD AND FAST. FAST BIKES, FAST LAND SPEEDERS, FAST LAND RAIDERS. (See If the Emperor Had a Podcast episode about White Scars) Raven Guard: Focus on Stealth and ambush attacks. Hit them hard from the shadows. Salamanders: Focus on FIRE, and MELTA. They're also master craftsmen so they have really good guns. Also cool dudes. they're big, they're loud, and they incinerate their foes. Dark Angels: Hoard lots of relic weaponry and armor. Their greenwing blast from afar with hordes of plasma weapons, their ravenwing are fast and versatile while riding bikes and land speeders, and their deathwing use relic terminator armor to shred the enemy in melee. Don't mention the Fallen around them or you might find your ship exploding. Blood Angels: Get into melee and tear them apart with chainswords and lightning claws, all to get the max amount of blood spilled. They also have the Black Rage, where their troops are overcome with memories of Hawk-boy dying, and they just go into a murderrage. Space Wolves: versatile wolves. Ride into battle on wolves, shoot from afar with wolf snipers, have wolf dreadnoughts, have wulfen(DIGGANOBZ) marines charging in alongside them, lots of wolven melee, have thunderwolves fighting alongside them, wolf priests serving as apothecaries/chaplains, and rune priests using their TOTALLY NOT SORCERY to cast wolf magic. Wolves. Grey Knights: Super special all-psyker army, with super special relic terminator armor, super special guns using bullets made from the emperor's tears, super special not!dreadnoughts that look like baby carriers, and super secret missions.

If GW ever officially announces Vulkan’s return I expect the comments section on the resulting KZread video to be full of “VULKAN LIVES *stomp stomp*!”

Also despite having iron hands, Ferrus Manus actually valued the raw strength and ingenuity of the human flesh. He'd be dissapointed of his sons in how they became "Mechanicus Lite"

Kazmark_gl I have this image in my head of a scene similar to the siege of gondor where terra is under siege by Chaos forces when all of a sudden above the skies of terra a weaponised moon appears similar to the one used by the Ork Warboss during the war of the beast which proceeds to fire on the chaos ships and then a smattering of ork transport vehicles descend and open their doors and out steps this figure who’s face is covered, who then yells” for gork and Mork, for friendship and hugs and FOR THE EMPEROR” running out revealing himself to be vulkan and followed by a tidal wave of green skins all roaring at the top of their voices and firing their weapons wildly

Note the sole exception, Sly Marbo himself. It is said if you are able to boop his shoot, he will yell in your face for a solid minute, and give you a knife before running way. That's what I heard anyway.

I heard something heretical an ork said: “Crusade is just humie for Waaaahg”. When I spoke to my brothers about it, I thought the Orks might have a point.... Does that make me a heretic?

Philosophically, yes. An ork WAAAAAAGH!!!! is, for them, an ideological and spiritual endeavor. It is their way of fulfilling their purpose and pursuing what they believe is their birthright; glorious and bloody combat. Similarly, an Imperial Crusade is the spiritually guided endeavor to take another step towards the birthright given by the Emperor, dominion over the Galaxy. Though the methodologies and purposes vary, they serve much the same role for their respective races.

And they also have very interesting guns with them when in a WAAAGH! Very fun to loot. I’ve got an Enginseer friend who has a bunch of Power Klaws attached to his Mechadendrites. Great at ripping up Orks who get too close

Well, Primarchs have advanced healing factors that dwarfs any space marine. As well, they have denser muscle, stronger bones, and higher tolerances to pain. Hell, Magnus' pain was mostly mental and emotional. Phyically, he was fine.

Lloyd Irving pretty much. It’s actually a psychic power he has that lets him hide in such a way that your mind simply doesn’t acknowledge that he’s there. It’s so effective that he could be standing in the center of a brightly lit auditorium with a thousand people and not be noticed if he didn’t want to. The only limitations are that mechanical devices such as auspex scanners can still spot him. Not completely sure if psykers can sense him since in this series Magnus couldn’t figure out where he was when he vanished.

Did Sly Marbo just Guile Flash Kick that toad into the troposphere? Damn, that's hardcore! Also, the entire Boop-The-Snoot sequence had me laughing and suffocating into hysterics! The Salamanders are the best. In the Grim darkness of the far future, Vulkan gives the best hugs!

My favorite thing is still the fact despite everything Corvis said he still fits Catachan's hierarchy.

I love how as long as Vulkan is on screen the background music is always either cheerful and upbeat or heroic and confident.

Weirdly enough, that sounds just like an RPG I did with a friend. Even weirder, it became such a massive chain of crossovers that they WERE going to Terra, and that was before I really knew what the hell 40K was.

@@iambumbo7534 nope. It's basically adventure and RPG stories. If it was netflix series, they would made one or both of them gay or people of colour. Although, i'm not even sure if Vulkan is people of colour in the first place. since, you know, the Salamanders Legion skin colour were black as coal due to Vulkan's geneseed mutation, because of the planet radiation.

Wait. Just how much ork did Vulkan get in him? 'Cuz we could be looking at a huge problem. What if he lets out spores whenever he gets killed? Then we could end up with planets covered in biological factories that spit out entire ecosystems centered around insane, immortal, hug-loving primarchs. It's like the greatest bioweapons Emps and the Old Ones ever came up with just got wrapped up into a single, compact, ridiculously cheerful package. Truly, the tyranids have to move over. A new threat is about to devour the galaxy, in the name of friendship and hugs for all.

The Tyranids just want hugs, same a Vulcan. When the two meet there will be hugs for all. Then Vulcan can settle down with a nice norn queen, and raise a bunch of huganuts to spread happiness to all.

I do not believe for a _second_ that Vulkan would give painful hugs! The Salamanders practise daily to perfect the art of hug giving, they are the absolute best at giving hugs of the perfect pressure to maximize comfort and joy! They even adopt families to perfect their warm and inviting smiles upon! Vulkan, as the Primarch of the Hug Masters, would be _even better_ at the Art Of The Hug than his most talented children! To even suggest otherwise is *HERESY!*

You both make excellent points. Therefore, I suggest a headcanon: with space marines, soldiers and any exciting situation, Vulkan is no longer lucid enough to know his own strength. When doing something noble, such as hugging a frightened imperial child to tell them everything will be okay because De Primarch-boys are here now, he gets it exactly, perfectly, right.
