Good idea as the SnS is WAY too expensive. Although it would be good if you built in some sort of water pan. Maybe use a cut open metal flask?

I see these are 19 inches, could you make it maybe 15 16 inches to have a little more room. Also if cooking at 300-350 is it easy to maintain in a bro n sear. I’m disabled and just need simplicity. Thanks and great video

Sure. Or just use one basket. For those temps you probably need to light more coals. What are u cooking?

@@backyahdbbq I went Myron mixons cooking school and he cooks everything hot and fast. So when I cook pork I’m at 300-325 and same when I do a brisket. Chicken I will do from 275-325 range. So I was just trying to save some space and make a little bigger basket so I didn’t have to sit over it. I try doing the snake method and it is a little tougher to get up to those higher temps. I appreciate your help

In that case light a half chimney of coals. Dump into basket. Then close lid with vents open on top and bottom. Then close bottom vent when you are about 10-15 degrees below your target temp. It should stabilize.
