I hate to see her grow beyond the Alabama Shakes but OMG, her band now is incredible. No one today sings with the raw emotion as Brittany.

I absolutely love Jaime. But the two Alabama Shakes records are in a league all their own, nothing can touch the magic they had together. I just spent the last couple hours aimlessly driving around listening to those two records and it's unbelievably how perfect they are. I really, really, really, really, really, really, really hope that one day Alabama Shakes can reunite down the road when the time is right. In the meantime, I'll happily be enjoying Brittany's solo material as well as Sun on Shade (Heath and Zac's band)

Other than Dolly, Brittany is the only other “Star” I would want to sit in conversation with. Once in an interview she said “I didn’t have lofty ambitions...I was like, how am I gonna make a world that’s gonna be just okay that I can live in”. Man, that hit me straight in the heart, that’s all I’ve been trying to do my entire life. ❤️

She is a legit musical genius. Between her and Gary Clark Jr. I cant catch my breath lately.

Brittany's first show in Chicago was at our venue Hideout (150 cap room) Brittany transformed the room and her performance was intoxicating. The 150 lucky people who happened to be there that night had an out of body experience. Please Save our Stages. She and her band truly "came up" through our small venues. After the show she and the band helped us wrap stuffed animals that Bloodshot Records had collected for xmas presents for needy families.

Brittany, I just want to say, your voice and talent is a blessing to this world. Thank y’all.

I’ve had the the privilege of seeing Alabama Shakes twice. The 1st time was indeed a privilege...this woman leaves it all out on stage...it’s not electric...it’s nuclear electric. I thought you could catch lightning in a bottle only once...then I saw them again. She’s unequaled in her craft...and channels virtually every great female vocalist...ever. Do ya feel me? Do ya feel me? Do ya? But....do ya?

Love Brittany Howard....my goal is to see her play in person....I stay up at night by myself.listening to ALL her music on utube......

That was a smoking hot set. Brittany is unbelievably charismatic, has an amazing voice and that band is tight. Saw the Alabama Shakes a few years back and knew she was destined for greatness.

I just wanted to say this was awesome. It was my first time hearing you and the group, and I loved it. And this is coming from a white guy who is into hard rock and bluegrass lol. You guys were so talented, and I loved the variety of song moods. Keep it up!
