9:21 It was initially ruled a foul and yellow card. The VAR official called for a review to determine whether the yellow should have been upgraded to red. Upon review, it was determined that the defender made contact with the ball before he touched the attacker, thus no foul at all. The booking was rescinded altogether. A free kick had been awarded. By rule, VAR cannot overturn an awarded free kick, unless the review was initiated for a different purpose - in this case, to ascertain the booking. I found it confusing as it was happening. The announcers did a superb job of clarifying the ruling.

"A lot of yellow in the crowd"...whenever we play Mexico, or any team from Central America or South America, there's always a big turnout from away fans. They're such a huge population here, so whenever one of their teams plays here, anyone within driving distance goes to the game...and driving distance here means like 10 hours lol

Citrus Bowl stadium is an old stadium in Orlando. UCF played there before they built an on-campus stadium. Many college bowl games are played there. Orlando City SC played there before they built their own stadium. It was built a long time ago to try to attract an NFL team, but they never got one since Tampa Bay is a larger market nearby.

I was at this match and a good showing by the US team considering what happened against Columbia. I would say the Crowd was close to 60/40 brazil maybe 50/50 there were a lot of Brazil alternate blue jerseys worn also so hard to just judge by the yellow, but both US and Brazil fans were great and brought good energy. The Stadium is Camping World Stadium and is mostly used for college Bowl games like the Citrus bowl as some other events, It think it holds close to 68k and crowd that night was listed at just over 60k. This is less that a kilometer from where Orlando City play their matches. Got to give it to both keepers, they played very well but I though US had a good chance to take this later in the second half.

I live in Florida and I was at the game. I would say it’s probably a mix of 65% Columbia fans and 35% USA fans. You may or may not be aware of this, but for the US, a lot of times if they are playing big teams at home, the crowd often favors the away team just because of the immigrant populations that live here

LT SAYING WIN THE WC OR ANY MEANS but at least make it tougher and make every single team a life living hell. Kind of like the 2009s, 2010s and 2014s team who we were less talented but they ALWAYS got a chip in their shoulder and a fire in their belly. A attitude of “we are worse than you, but we’re gonna make you F*CKING work for it, you ain’t beat us that easily”. Kind of like a Clint Dempsey attitude.
