These are spot on, the sims team really need to add some worn, red/orange. 70's patterned carpet though as I find a lot of people in the UK seem to have the odd room which has been redecorated, but the rest of the house is still a time capsule lol Sadly grey is still very much in. Grey walls, grey crushed velvet furniture, mirrored bedside cabinets, astro turf and who can forget, the grey Audi or Range Rover out front 😂 Hope you're feeling better soon!

I love how you've put so much thought into the storylines of the sims living here, like with the grey loving landlord, it's just funny. This was also what I'm really looking forward to doing with the new pack, making proper compact uk redbrick houses

Yessss I need more UK people here 🥰 It's so difficult isn't it, and in a weird way, I'm glad I'm not the only one that experiences it. I don't want anyone to feel this way of course, but i don't feel like I'm the only one that's struggling and it's oddly comforting. I lived in a terrace house when I was in the UK a while ago; you made this one spot on. Excellent!!! Hang on in there. Like you said, take it a second at a time.

I loved everything about this video! There’s something about seeing houses that I’m more accustomed to (UK girly) that feels so homey, as well as your accent and voiceover 🥰 I look forward to the new pack for the split-household gameplay, and this build is definitely on my to-be-downloaded list! I also love the backgrounds/storylines for your sims, the different house vibes, and your description of the grey house build and that particular sim had me in a right giggle while I was on my work break! 😂😂 Plus, talking about mental health can be hard and you do it with such honesty, it’s really brave, and as someone who also struggles with these things, it’s so relatable - it helps make me feel less alone, and also that I want to let you and others know that you can and should take all the time you need, you’re fabulous and bad-ass, and you’ll get back to feeling more yourself, sending you lots of (platonic 😝) love and encouragement! 🎉 xx

My grandad lives in a house that looks really similar to the car left one ( he even has the same colour car lol

Aw, I really hope things get better for you. I struggled with the transition myself and I understand how difficult it can be. Try to do things that make you happy, no matter how small of a thing they might be, they can be things that you look forward to at the end of the day ❤️

these are so pretty! id want to live in the old ladys house lol. so cute. also, may i ask how you managed to move the objects off the placement grid and pack more objects in? if i could do that my sims builds would be beauties thats for sure ! oh itd be great if you could tell me how to resize objects too !

Thank you! To move objects off grid, you need to hold ALT. It also helps to have the bb.moveobjects cheat enabled too. I resize objects using the [ key (to make objects smaller) and the ] key, (to make objects bigger). I also use a mod call the T.O.O.L mod by twisted mexi, which is more of refined way of resizing objects, rotating them, it has a lot of features :)

Try repairing your game within the EA app. I think there are a few bugs with the gallery at the moment which is annoying 😑 But I'm working on getting all my tray files sorted for each build so I'll reply when they're ready ❤️

That was a DISGUSTING trend. The crushed velvet -eseically a sectional sofa-, grey and silver, mirrored furniture EVERYWHERE. Giiirrrrlll, it was blinding. And every "celebrity" (reality star and wags) had it and overexplained it as if they were the first person, reinventing the wheel. (Yes, I sound hella judgy, but Brits understand.) It was JUST before that era of girls having a beauty room filled with those Ikea lack stands (the ones for CDs), Alex drawers and desk, acrylic everything and ring lights. Also I was thrown for a LOOP when you greeted me wit Ayup! You never really hear a midlander in YT, and in the Sims community?! Hey grl. - But then you also say "were" and "nur" so just a little north... Yorkshire sides - Leeds or Sheffield. Probs Sheffield cause it's closer to the midlands...

Lmao howling at how passionate you are about this 🤣 The crushed velvet was my limit. My mam adopted the trend and got crushed velvet curtains and some other bits (thankfully not too overboard) and the texture ruined my week. Still makes the hairs on the back on my neck stand up 😅 Yeah I'm closer to Sheffield! My accent is typical Yorkshire but with a few differences cos I'm from a village so it's altered a bit. Like in Sheffield they say can't like carnt whereas we say it like caaaaaahnt 😅 Hard to explain by typing but hopefully you get what I mean haha
