@@klv8037 I prefer world at war or the og MW games, honestly, any of the old COD games, world at war and MW used to have a crap top of NPCs that would gradually push up alongside you, when I was a kid playing WaW I would sit back and watch the infinitetly respawning friendly NPCs rush to their set positions to take cover and shoot the infinetly respawning enemy NPCs

In the OG games, you both play as a highly skilled special forces operator sent for CQB special operations, or just a normal soldier sent to fight in horrific large-scale battles like World War 2 or 3. Both perspectives add so much to the narrative, and the style of gameplay isn't repetitively tactical.

*Minor spoilers for the MW3 campaign* The friendly NPCs in this video are actually British Police SFOs not SAS. They're being deployed alongside the main TF141 team (Ghost, Soap, Gaz, Price) who are all SAS. Still an awesome video though

British armed police SFO (specialist firearm officer) fighting konni is crazy

2:26 Soap’s takedown animation I believe is a recycled one from the Prison Break in MWII? If you let Alejandro or Los Vaqueros take down the Shadow inside the first room when you exit the prison I think it’s the same animation. I could be wrong though.

It's quite disappointing that modern cod games completely neglect improving the AI. Any friendly AI that helps you is basically scripted to die and barely win fights against the enemies unlike in older cod games where both enemies and friendlies had an equal chance of killing each other

A shame this was essentially yhe Only map this time around with friendly AI troopers, not just one invincible named character. Oh to be able to call in reinforcements on the more open maps!

Nice work with this. The combat scenes are definitely more intense in this game. Keep them coming.

This guy can script AI better than Activision. The AI in campaign is atrocious. Like they don't see you directly even they stand near you.

Hopefully we get these skins in multiplayer. Something that we'll see in real life and more mil-sim like. I'm up for unique and silly skins but don't do it so much that the game lost its identity and roots.

@@samhdxl the conceptual artist of Cold War created several Milsim variants for the game, and devs choose to not use them even when they had the assets for them in game

All they have to do is to do some behavioral training with actual Marines and SAS CQB operators. You can even model this as a simple ML problem. Put trackers on each operator, and have a light or view sight on their weapons, and see how they move, and react when an enemy combatant is spotted on their view sight, and also what percentage of times one or more dies before they can eliminate/clear the room. You do this, and it essentially trains the AI to know how to search a room, how to work with other AIs, and overall how to react in a realistic manner.

@@foxtrotsierraproductions8626 They don't search rooms. In fact, they have almost 0 environmental awareness. They see you, and start randomly moving and shooting. Look at any NPC video on youtube about this, you'll see alot of the times they come out of cover, and stand in the open and just stare at the enemy, and turn around, and again stare at the enemy, and then suddely start walking sideways and shoot the enemy. It has no significant intelligence.

these are just British police, the uniforms are pretty accurate to their real life counterparts

In MW 2019: Cleanhouse you had an 'entirely SAS' troop assaulting the house. Maybe, just maybe if they rolled in with more SAS troopers they wouldn't be as helpless when Makarov came in the end

Realistically, it would be a 50/50 for the British and konni pmcs. They could potentially die to PMCs. It's not like they are far more skilled than the konni dudes, tbh the PMCs may be former special operators or some sh. But still, It's more like who's got a better angle on each other. So yeah, just saying

If u need ideas do a private match on war mode set the bots and change how war is played and watch in spectator team
