I have lived in the Philippines for almost 10 years and the friendship and kindness shown by Filipinos is awesome.....so I am sure they were fine with Kummander taking the pig head, especially as Welshman have a certain affinity for farm animals 😆

This is for them double blessings when they are able to feed as many family relatives they have, even those that were not able to attend. As far as I know, the lechon head is often given to the most valuable guests in occasions. In one Christmas Party I attended, it became a surprise prize in a bingo game. The pig brain can be used as the main ingredient for the Tuslob-Buwa (dip in oily bubbles) dish and the mask or pig face can be used for sisig as well as paksiw like the rest of the left-over of the animal. The bones including the skull can be fed to the dogs. Nothing is wasted like the coconut tree.

Weather is not agreeable for your sea paddling attempt but it doesn't hurt to give a go - might work - might not - would only know by trying. Wave is starting to stir up as soon as you started paddling. Changed of plan is a good idea but don't be fooled by the river's calmness either, obviously, the river paddling looks friendlier than than the first plan. Mama Rose is dressed up for the occasion. Her transformation is ahmazing! Her feature shows her mixed heritage. The whole family is having great time including the extended members and I am starting to recognize who's name is attached to who. Good luck for the Store Opening!
