British Husband Shows American Wife | The Graham Norton Show - Some Of The Best Bits Ever

For those of you who are new to the channel my name is Fen and I am half British and half Libyan and my lovely wife Akasha is American but Czech by blood (hence Culture Clash Reactions)
Maybe the best British talk show host on the show today. Graham Norton never fails to entertain us every week back in Britain. Thought it was time for my American Wife to get a good taste of what it is he does best.

if you don't know Miriam Margoles, you should react to her best bits on Graham Norton. She's been on three or four times and she is the funniest guest they've ever had because she has no filter whatsoever.

She also doesn't take any shit and has a great no-nonsense attitude, particularly for someone of her generation. She's very left wing and also would destroy the type of person who uses the word "snowflake" non-ironically

I have been to a recording of the Graham Norton Show in its very early days and i dont remember any signs held up or cards etc. There was a warm up comedian guy who was very funny so we were all already in a good mood by the start of recording. Although prerecorded they try to do as much as possible with out stopping (unless a technical difficulty) to keep the momentum going. The late Jackie Collins was one of the guests the night we were there and she was a scream. Some audience members had done their versions of film posters. One woman did one of the film The Rock but replacing the R with a C. Jackie thought it was great and asked the woman if she could take it back to LA with her saying 'i have got to give this to Nick (Nicholas Cage) he will wet himself at this'.

Graham is a good interviewer, but to me what really makes it is that the guests are all on at the same time, and it's their interaction that makes the show.. Even the band that plays at the end gets to join them after playing, and you end up with 4 or more people sitting there having a chat. I don't know why more American talk shows don't do this.

I love me some Graham Norton. I am from the US. I go down these rabbit holes on KZread that go on for hours. He is really addicting. Best talk show in the world in my opinion. That woman who made Mathew Perry blush was Miriam Margolyes. (Of Harry Potter fame). She is a very frequent guest on the Graham Norton show and a good friend of Graham's, and never fails to make everyone blush. She is so funny because she speaks such posh, proper English and then tells some of the most crass stories. It's hysterical. You never know what she is going to say. Tbere sre whole montages of her in the GN show. There is one particularlyfunny one where she is on with Daniel Radiffe. And of course she embarrasses the hell out of him. BTW, we still love Will Smith. At least I do. You can't cancel someone for one mistake. A big mistake, yet still. He owned up to it and applogized profusely. It bothers me that people can't just forgive him and move on. Anyway, great reaction, thanks.

Yep, he's made some terrible creative decisions in recent years but is still a huge star. He did a bad thing but was defending his wife, he didn't kill someone or do a Harvey Weinstein. I actually think Jada is a terrible person but it's his wife and he reacted badly in the moment. He should have been used to banter and slight roasting by now, but I'd never condemn someone for standing up for their wife.

As an American - The Graham Norton Show is the best talk show ever made. I can't believe the US has not stolen this idea (as we do with so many British shows). Take a bunch of stars who seemingly have nothing in common and then just allow them to interact and act natural and comfortable instead of being one on one with a man who is trying to force jokes constantly. It's not really rocket science. Brilliant show! And by the way - How surreal must that moment have been for Greg Davis - sitting next to and telling an embarrassing story to Russel Crowe, Jodie Foster and Ryan Gosling! Talk about an absolute mind-F%#&!

I echo everyone about Miriam Margoyles' many appearances on the Graham Norton Show. Not only is she consistently outrageous and hilarious, the reaction of other guests to her, um, forthrightness is very entertaining. One of things you miss in these compilations is how guests can really play off each other. Greg Davies' story is even funnier because he took that "fecal Jackson Pollock" line from an anecdote Ryan Gosling told earlier in the show: kzread.info/dash/bejne/doauwaiIgK-yiM4.htmlsi=wpyD_-SbGQ2nQcJt

Nobody is 'probably drunk at this point' unless they had been drinking heavily before they came on the show! A few famous names go down in history for their drunken behaviour - like Oliver Reed for example - but the fight with the teddy bear was just a fun exaggeration against the usual swoons and cuddles. P.S. I still love Will Smith (as do lots of Brits) but dislike his wife Jada intensely.

I just don't understand this "cancel" culture. Why is Will Smith no longer liked? He was human? What kind of BS is that? If that's the case, why is Michael Jackson still considered one of the greatest song writers & performers ever regardless of what may have occurred in his life? It's because he was. Everyone should not be judged on everything they ever do. Are you perfect? Have you never been an ass? I doubt it. Celebrities are human & they mess up like we all do. Get over it.
