@@josephrion3514 I mean, Coca Cola isn't spelled coke, so it kind of makes sense that people wouldn't call a coca cola a coke. What annoys me is how in one restaurtant they will give me all the soda options when I ask for a coke and at another restaurant across the street they'll assume I want a coca cola when I say coke. Inconsistency is what annoys me. Most places just let you fill your own drink, these days, though. So the problem is kind of moot.

I am british, but I've lived with Americans so I basically speak American accent. But now I realise that all the words I use are British accent. 😂
I will be completely honest…. I didn’t even know that a Hoover was a vacuum! 😐😶
Hoover must be some well established brand of a vacuum
Chewkz turned into Arthur Morgan with that “Boah”
I was so confused about what a Hoover was, I thought everyone called it a vacuum

It just shows how far Hoover has fallen. Vacuum cleaners were never called Hoovers in America, but everyone used to know that Hoover was a brand of vacuum cleaners. They invented vacuum cleaners and were the biggest brand until maybe 20 years ago.
