@@yazma2 Actually, the two Nathan is talking about are not part of the trilogy. "The Drug in Me is You" is a lot more along the vein of Escape the Fate-ish. Ronnie's re-imagined song is almost unrecognizable from the original but is maybe my favorite song of all time.

Love the song! And the video kicks ass!! The lyrics hit very close to home with what he has battled through (kinda going through similar situation at the moment) It is his daughter and it shows that seeing her reminded him that despite what others made him become, he is human. Not this monster others have made him out to be. Seeing her place her hand on his shoulder shows that despite all this anguish and rage, there is always someone deep inside our hearts that will keep us going. Oh..you're going to have so much fun going down that rabbit hole! I can't wait to go with you! FIR's earliest stuff was very much like Escape the Fate with Ronnie Radke. So if you loved them, you will love this, too. There is so much variety in his work, though. He really does do a little bit of everything and it is all absolutely great! Ronnie's work in the past 2 years is technically the best of his career. He really is just getting better and better. I'm glad you've rediscovered him.

This is rad. I was also living under a rock and only discovered these guys after popular monster blew up. I went down that rabbit hole and its fucking amazing you will love it. Hes such an insanely good song writer in soo many different styles. For me heaps of the songs are real growers and I love that, but then he can write the catchiest shit you've heard and you know the hook after one spin.

Ronnie was the singer in Escape The Fate. Some really bad shit went down in the desert, someone died and he went to prison for 2.5 years. When he got out he went back into music although he was seriously suffering from PTSD.

I don't know if anyone answered your thing from the start about that you think you dropped of because he got into some sort of situation but you weren't sure if it was him or not. As a fan since 2010 it probably was him lol he's been in a number of controversies over the years, unfortunately a lot of things people have claimed are like the chinese whispers game where the story becomes different, other controversies have been debunked but are still spread. The one you might recognise is the mic stand incident (which was never done to injure a fan, he was very remorseful about the incident, people that already disliked him ran with it despite the injured party not taking issue). In general he has grown so much over the years. He's been a really positive influence for me in terms of my growth especially around different traumas and learning how to let that go. People can say what they want about him, but he's exceedingly talented, hardworking and played a massive role in why I'm still here. Sorry for the long as hell comment lol it was a great reaction, only found your channel today and I'll definitely check out more!

It was a little quiet, so I went and watched the original and came back, and I felt that song deep in my bones. All the feels. We have multiple personalities, and surprisingly most of the time I feel very alone. Depression definitely is a big part of our life too. I don't feel lucid most of the time, I just feel lost in a brain fog, and when I am lucid I get hit by crippling depression or anxiety. And the people around us just don't understand what it's truly like, and they never will because they've not lived the same experience. I love this song, because it's able to express emotionally what I can't explain with words - the emptiness, feeling alone and forgotten, to feel trapped, to feel like you're lost at the bottom of a hole. - Jamie

Ronnie is, to sum it up, on another level. He raps, he can rock a ballad, he screams, he can do those pop/emo rock clear runs, he knows how to run his falsetto. ON top of that, he produces the videos, he writes the songs, he works with the band to make the entire song. Alot of people say that prison causing him to be removed from ETF was the best thing that could happen to his career. Not because they weren't good... but because he's running the show how he wants now, and FIR is it's own genre imo. He's inspired by HU, Slipknot, Linkin Park, A7X, etc. He loves the reactions people put up, especially when people show some kind of knowledge about the production value, the musicology, and the talent of what goes into the overall value of each of these videos. Like everyone else is saying, you HAVE to do the trilogy of videos in order. Also, go do the b2b of The Drug in Me is You, followed by The Drug in Me is Reimagined. 2 totally different perceptions of the same song.
