The British Firework Championships is one of the most eagerly anticipated annual events in Plymouth's calendar. It is one of the highlights of the summer as it entertains up to 100,000 spectators on Plymouth Hoe and the waterfront.
Thousands of spectators head up to the Hoe and the Mount Batten Peninsula for two evenings of entertainment, culminating in spectacular fireworks displays from six companies seeking the coveted title of British Firework Champions.
Thousands are expected to flock to the Hoe to witness the dazzling contest on Wednesday, August 16 and Thursday, August 17.
