British Carp Angling Championships At Berners Hall Fishery Vlog

In this week's carp fishing vlog, you join me and Garedd Gardner, a competitive carp fishing angler for a BCAC (British Carp Angling Championships) at Berners Hall Fishery.
The Res was the lake for this competition, somewhere I’ve spent many nights on. Personally banking three 40s from here myself in the past. I went into this match scenario confident I could nick a couple.
In this video, I used the new Parker Baits magic bean wafters alongside many other Parker Baits products. We do our best to keep you posted with the pre-comp preparation and in-depth vlog-style action throughout the 48 hours at Berners Hall Carp Fishery too.
It’s been a long time since I’ve fished in the BCAC, with my last entry being in 2014 for the BYCAC (British Young Carp Angling Championship).

Fair play guys,,, I must admit being a old arse I usually can’t get past the first 2 minutes of any Parker baits videos,,,😉🤣 But as this popped up on KZread and looked a bit different I gave it a watch and really enjoyed the vlog!! Not many caught all round then apart from c1 peg in the summer, I wonder what the winter competition will be like in January...

Hi Josh, yes they do no problem. I would recommend the shelf life if you really want to punch them. They’re slightly harder but include the exact same ingredients 🤝
I fished over here in storm uenice mate and took of in my bivvy in the wind 😂 ain’t been back since

Did the fishery/BCAC allow the use of leaders for this fixture as it states in the fishery rules ‘no leaders or lead core of any type’? Only asking as i will be attending fixtures next year at Berners Hall 🎣

Just a question why didnt you both drop one in the margins? Feed it all day then drop it in at dusk rarely fails ben

It didn’t feel right dropping one in the margins when we had plenty of fish showing out in front and results.
Lessons learned ben you were a little rusty, but next time please do consider them margins m8 best of luck ..Neil👍👏👏👏

I saw Garrod baiting up margins with the pull so don't think the boys overlooked it - seemed to me the fish stayed out at range probably due to pressure of match
Was it the bycac you fished back in 2008? Your face looks familiar I'm sure it's from back then
