Umm Haani hey, so I am no expert but instead of the usual «baby talk» Ollie uses real complete sentences. Doing that helps kids develop their communication skills. It’s not a big theory but yeah, some people underestimate their child’s capacity to assimilate language, hope it’s C’est and hope you have a great day

That’s not entirely accurate. It’s important to use baby talk, otherwise babies have a hard time vocalizing sounds. One of my professors at university decided to skip using baby talk and her daughter was a late talker, as she couldn’t reproduce most of the complex words she was exposed to. It all depends on how old the child is.

@@luenoir I've heard mixed things, that "baby talk" is actually a really good and natural response people have to over emphasis to young babies and they get used to hearing certain sounds of words. I've also seen studies that just being around a language even as an adult can make learning it easier because you can learn to hear different sounds in the target language. On the other hand, some children who are taught or learn different languages can pick it up really early and I've seen toddlers speak so much after just starting preschool at 2. I think being around a lot of people speaking in general would be a massive advantage after your parents use baby talk for a little bit, we are a herd animal after all

My guess is that she understood when josh said he wasn’t gonna call Ollie “daddy” and she calls him Ollie when speaking to josh...

Okay, so to add to this, I had recently went to my Mother's house for my Brother's birthday and My Mom's husband's grandkid is so smart and kind just like Juno. I'd never heard ONE 4 year old in my life thus far knowing what Terra Cotta is and thinking up detailed house plans in his mind. Probably why he likes Minecraft.

I've rewatched this several times now cuz all of it is too adorable and I FINALLY realize that Juno called Ollie by his first name because Josh specifically said out loud that HE didn't wanna call him daddy, so she just adjusted and complied for his comfort! SHE'S SO SWEET AND SMART!!!!

Seeing gabi’s videos about how much her and Josh want kids makes me a little melancholy watching him so sweetly interact with Juno.

She is so sweet looks like mum and has the personality/humour of dad. I cannot think of a better combination of looks/personality.

Juno is such a well behaved child and she is only two. Wow. Their parenting must be awesome.
