I was hesitant to purchase an open box carseat but it came in excellent condition and saved $35. Box was damaged as stated before I purchased it, but the kzread.infoUgkxIxQe7nPH74g_xtI5NgiE9-zpGNkfgovw car seat looks brand new and I don't think it was ever used. I will update of course if I have any issues with this carseat but I don't think I will. Also it is surprisingly lightweight, the handle feels secure unlike my previous EvenFlo that was gifted to us. Love it !

Love it! I took my Diono radian on 5 planes on December 2022 & had a different trolley cart. One plane made me gate check it because they said their plane was “too small” for the car seat. I think they were just confused lol it’s a super slim folding car seat!

That’s awesome! So glad you love it too! Yeah sometimes I think it is all up to the mood of the person at the gate. We’ve luckily never had any issues bringing our car seats on once we were at the gate 😅 thankfully!

Please how can I get this car seat?

Thanks so much for making this demo and for your other travel tip videos, I find them so helpful. Do you have experience pulling the seat while attached to the cart onto a domestic flight? I also have the Nuna Rava and decided to buy the Britax cart. It looks so wide when I put together and I'm worried it won't fit down the aisle of a smaller domestic plane. Thanks!

Hi! Happy to help! Every plane is different but so far we have never had any issues with rolling our Nuna Ravas onto each airplane, both domestic and international 🥰 I hope this helps and hope you have a great trip!

Hi there! I have 2 Nuna Ravas (love them) and have never seen those two seatbelt looking clips on them. They are the ones that you showed as attached to the carseat and clipped onto the cart. Where do I find those?

Hi! The latch clips? They’re stored inside the car seat under the lower true tension door! Simple pull them out through each side of the car seat - it’s a great way to hook it up to your car as well (as an alternative to the seat belt method) though I think Nuna recommends the seat belt method as their first recommendation. Just be sure to follow all their instructions to use/install properly. Hope this is helpful!

It depends on the airport staff, sometimes they would just look at it and other times they would ask it to be separated but most the time I didn’t have to take it off the wheels but everyone and every airport seems to handle things differently

Thank you! TSA at SFO did not make me take it off the cart and only wiped it down for explosives. Thanks to your video we had a great time on our first flight!! One question for you- how did you manage the seatbelt with forward facing the Rava? We couldn’t get it tight and not have the buckle right at her back. Thanks so much again!

I have the same car seat. He is currently rear facing in the car, so is it recommended he be the same on the plane or can he be forward facing? Thanks!

I’m not sure if it has the ability to face backwards in the airplane so please consult the manual for this.

Dumb question.. you remove the britax cart before installing car seat on plane right? I have the same car seat and will be flying soon

Yes! The Britax carts fit under the seat or in the overhead bin (preferred)

Through TSA the babies always need to go through separately from bags, car seats, all items. We just carried them through.

Hello! Where did you store the cart once on the plane? Did make any trouble for strolling it through the plane’s aisle?

I either store the folded cart in the overhead bin or sometimes it can also fit under the seat in front of me. It seems to barely fit on all the planes I’ve taken it on to walk down the aisle all the way to my seat pulling it in the aisle

So you actually bring it on the plane. Do you belt the car seat onto a plane seat? I assume you have to detach the car seat from the cart? Great idea.

Yes! They ride in the seats on the airplane as the Nuna Rava seats are FAA approved. It buckled onto the airplane seat then the cart is stored separately in the overhead bin. ☺️ I have some other videos on my channel showing the seats on the airplane - Hope this helps!

Hi - those are NOT the lyrics 😂 The lyrics say “I could run through the fire, I could conquer the night” it’s a major boss mom encouragement song - like an “anyone can do this” type vibe, or “you’ve got this” vibe! But I could see how the lyrics could be misheard haha… anyways thanks I’m so glad you enjoyed this video!

Of course, I’m happy to share! Yes it was pretty easy - the seat belt just goes right through the true tension doors & gets locked in. (here is a video of us traveling with them where I show how I had it set up: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zpl-062NebrdgKQ.html ) Hope this helps!

Do you have to remove your toddler from the carseat in order to install it into the plane seat or do you think its possible to do it without taking them out?

They do have to come out of the car seat to install it.

Yes, everything has to get inspected. The security part is definitely the hardest part of travel with little ones honestly lol but it also depends on the mood of the people working. Some are more strict than others

How do you do it for tsa?

When we go through security we take the kids out of the seat and walk through while they inspect the carseats and then we put them back in after and keep going. It feels like a lot but as long as there is extra time you’re good

This is the best way to bring the car seats onto the airplane. Alternatively a stroller is good If you’re not in need of car seats in flight
