Forgot to mention, i accidentally spawned in the water just as the funnel came down right on top of me, the first time I've ever had to close my eyes in a VR experience it was that horrific.

They’re not a huge massive company making it either. Have you ever seen yandere simulator? Now that game is and it’s programmer are an absolute joke 🥴 I’m not even too interested in that game but I’ve seen a few videos about it over the years and it’s absolutely ridiculous.

She remained stoic publicly but her autobiography relays the horror of her experiences. She could not swim. She never reported her fractured skull, she only tended the wounded. A remarkable life. Charles Lightoller survived Titanic, a German zeppelin attack and later sailed his personal boat to Dunkirk and saved 127 British servicemen. A life of absurdly dignified and heroic service on both parts.

To everyone viewing this extraordinary creation, you are casting your gaze on a masterpiece. The exquisite colours, phenomenal attention to detail, vividness, sounds, timing and elegance are the equivalent of a digital Renoir or Monet. What Titanic: Honor and Glory have done defies words. This is the most incredible recreation of a maritime tragedy forgotten for so long. You have not only brought HMHS Britannic back to life, but also those who built, sailed aboard and sank with her. From the rivets on the davits, to the detail on the steam winches, ropes, hospital beds, rust marks, portholes, cables lowering the lifeboats, smoke, wood planking, ventilators, ladders, instruments on the bridge, signage, and even the weathering on the masts and funnels, and views inside the windows and portholes, your meticulousness is beyond impeccable. Thank you all so much for your breathtaking work.

It's funny how we originally thought Britannic and Titanic sank completely differently but as we slowly piece the puzzles together, the resulting animations reveal they actually sank very similarly - down by the bow with a significant list to port, stern rising out of the water. The main difference was that Britannic kept sailing forward and some of the portholes were open causing the ship to sink in a third of the time. This would explain the efficiency of the evacuation of Britannic versus Titanic, no doubt the whole crew would have read extensively on that sinking and would've anticipated certain events before they happened, Bartlett in particular was probably so confident because of this foreknowledge of similar events, if only the watertight doors had closed properly

Because Britannic was rushed to be completed it was missing 3 of the large gantry cranes that originally would have held all of the extra lifeboats. So to compensate they just used a bunch of Welin davits like the Titanic and Olympic did. Notice near the bridge there is a crane on the starboard side but not the port side. If you explore the RMS Britannic in game you'll find that the boat deck doesn't look nearly as cluttered as the HMHS version because all of the lifeboats are stacked under the cranes.

In freemode, sometimes I get into the ship of beneath the water. Some kind of unwanted "noclip" but that's cool because precisely it's something I'd like. Even though here being a bug, there's nothing in the sea or in the hull (just some blurry textures) ^^ You did a great job. Can't wait for Titanic.

I'm not sure if she would have been unquestionably the grandest ship afloat considering that her competition included Aquitania, Imperator, Vaterland and Bismarck, which were already built or being built.. But that would have been a close contest certainly. Britannic would have been my favourite that's for sure 😉.

I don't know, but the original video seems more accurate of the actual sinking. Still, it's sad Britannic went down, after the safety improvements she and Olympic took from their sister Titanic when she sank. The mine destroyed her bad. At least her wreck is still in great shape in relatively shallow waters despite the broken bow.

you might wan't to check this out! The fire alarm signal onboard ship is sounded as the continuous ringing of ship's electrical bell or continuous sounding of ship's horn. ... Once the master decides for the dismissal of the crew from fire stations, the general alarm will be sounded three times followed by three short blasts of the ship's whistle. in the game you blow her wistle 4 time's but no need to change just making sure you know! :)

You know, as terrible as the sinking was, it was lucky that the Britannic didn’t strike the mine returning from Greece. Could you imagine this situation but with 1,000 plus wounded soldiers onboard? Would’ve made the Titanic look like a picnic.

This is a good point. But I always thought it just broke off later because of the unsupported weight of the bow, as she is lying on her side. If you lay the ship on its side notice the bow is just kind of hanging there.

Dear developers, we would really like to: - so that we can use the elevators (move between decks) - so that we can freely move between locations (now only through the menu) - sinking mode with interiors The material of the steel hull of the liner is just perfect! To add on to Tyler’s answer, that’s also the reason only the standard Welin davits were installed on the poop deck. The intended gantries would’ve taken longer to install but since the Royal Navy needed her quickly those were placed there so they could have at least some means of evac on that deck. They likely would’ve been swapped out had she gotten through the war.

I always wondered since the only time they opened the watertight doors was during shift change, and that unfortunately happened to be when they struck the mine. What if they didn't hit the mine during shift change and all the watertight doors were closed, would the ship have sank? If it was doomed to sink no matter what even with the watertight doors closed how much longer could this ship have lasted. I see they put in here that if the watertight doors did close or were closed Captain Bartlett may have been able to reach the island of Kea. I've always wondered about those things... Anyways, Amazing video as always You guys did an awesome job! I'm bummed I can't play this on Steam because I haven't had a computer for a long time . I just always use my phone or my PS4 and XBOX..
