One of the most interesting European Royal families by far. And from the moment they took power their lives were all wrapped up in this Intrigue and murder and all kinds of infamy. William the conqueror is also very interesting. Some of these plantagenet queens were considered that she Wolves of England and they all descend from William the Conqueror and before that the Vikings. There's a great plantagenet documentary on the BBC Channel on KZread, it's three parts but it's well worth it.

This series can be summed by a very human problem: "what could go wrong?". That makes this series very relatable even after hundreds of years.

This is great. I watched it not only from a historical manner but a personal one as well. I always have been interested in the Plantagenet kings since I read a book about them over 50 years ago and was surprised when years later I traced my genealogy that I was related to them and the Vikings that invaded and settled in Normandy I have always interested in history and enjoy watching documentaries like this.

This was so good and riveting! Classy production. I was mezmerized, and I like the narrator, very professional, classy. Wish the same people would do more on the British Monarchy. I'm absolutely watching this at least one more time, can't wait to savor it!

This is an amazing story of history and an awesome documentary with a great narrator. One of the best I’ve watched, I’d love to see a cable television series based on its reality, if there already is not a show/movie.

The War of the Roses, The White Queen and The White Princess. You can start with those 3 historical drama series. They are finely done.

I always felt bad for Edward II. He was justified in his revenge in the beginning, but he was too dependent on the Dispensers and allowed them to run his kingdom into the ground.

I don't think Becket 'found' god. I think he was ambitious as hell and realized he would have power over Henry as, Archbishop of Canterbury.

Great video. My recollection is that John's heart was buried at Fontrvraud. Some of Henry's methods of interpersonal skills he learned from his Mother Mathilda. They were double edged swords.
