This video/documentary was an absolute masterpiece - WELL DONE !❤🤝 THIS is how history is told and displayed. If every lecture in school was like this - history would be the favorite subject of every student that has a brain.

One of the most interesting European Royal families by far. And from the moment they took power their lives were all wrapped up in this Intrigue and murder and all kinds of infamy. William the conqueror is also very interesting. Some of these plantagenet queens were considered that she Wolves of England and they all descend from William the Conqueror and before that the Vikings. There's a great plantagenet documentary on the BBC Channel on KZread, it's three parts but it's well worth it.

Wonderfully narrated and the selection of actors is so precise and meticulous that you visualise as if they are people from the era. Thank You to all the producers of this documentary which elucidates British Medieval history and the essence of Parliamentary democracy, forged in Magna Carta and the provisions of Oxford, not just in writing, but at the cost of hundreds of lives lost in the battlefields.
Eleanor of Aquitaine was married to TWO Kings…. Eleanor of Aquitaine was not only a courageous woman who went on Crusade with her first husband King Louis of France , but was extremely intelligent, passionate and tough as nails. Edward II and Gaveston were likely much more than just “ friends”..
