Any good man is beyond concerned about whether what he's doing as a father is the right thing/way, so when a child you've raised comes and asks you to officially adopt them, it's gotta be one of the best, most pure feelings of joy ever. You won as a dad.

My wife and I have been foster parents for over a decade now. Our oldest child is biological but we have a 5 year old and a 3 year old both adopted through foster care. This is very emotional to watch. Thank you for doing this type of reaction video.

In the second one, the mom and dad had actually adopted her baby brother, Ivy was in another foster home and they really fought for her to be with her siblings and with them, they're wonderful parents, the birth mom then had another and they adopted her too! I'm a foster mama, I know my time with them is limited so these always get me.

Ugh, this is right up there with that story about the kid that stood up in front of his whole church and broke down crying asking if someone would be his forever parents. Like, how can you not cry at that?!? I am so happy for these children and their new parents and all children who are lucky enough to have someone chose them.

My sister and her husband thought they couldn’t have children, with their huge loving hearts, they decided to go the foster to adoption route. They have two siblings in their care through the foster system and they adopted a baby through a private adoption.. and then they got pregnant! They are a bit overwhelmed (they have 3 in different sized diapers) but they could not be happier to provide love and stability to children that don’t have it. Adoption is a beautiful thing. It’s being chosen as a child when you weren’t valued or loved or safe in your current situation. My cousin has 4 boys... their hearts were still open and wishing to give more love so they adopted 2 girls from the congo. After years of litigation, legal crap, tears, visits and love, they finally brought their girls home and they are amazing. Happy, healthy, smart and most importantly loved and safe. These videos always make me weepy. I had a magnificent family growing up so I know the value of having that support around you. And I wish everyone had that. If my husband and I can’t have kids, we’ll probably adopt as well. Love is better when it’s shared.

When you are adopted you never have to worry if you were an accident. You are most definitely an ‘on purpose’ a conscious decision.

I adopted two siblings in the foster care system who were in danger of being split up, and that moment in court when it became official was indescribably emotional. These videos are a great reminder of that feeling. It’s funny when I watch them with my now high school age teenagers, we all get emotional laughing and crying. My kids are not perfect and had a horrific start to their lives, but the gratitude they have for being adopted and being part of our family is so humbling and powerfully emotional. And that gratitude is reciprocated. The word grateful doesn’t adequately encompass the feelings I have for my kids and what they mean to me. Cheers and love to everyone in the adoption community. The gift of family is one of the most beautiful things a person can for another person.

You remind me of what my niece's little girl said about her daddy one day. "My daddy's real name is David Charles Marshmallow!" These are always touching but I have to think that for a family like mine, for whom adoption is a habit, it's even more so. The adoption we were in the midst of fell through for my husband and me, but we have rejoiced with various members of our extended family as their adoption dreams have come through. When my nephew married a young woman with a 4 year old son and adopted the boy, we were all thrilled to have another child to love. (This was not the first adoption in the family, by far) and a few years later, watching my sister play in the pool with our great-nephew, kissing his cheeks and laughing, I remember saying to his mom, "Whatever else you might say about this crazy family, you have to admit we do adoption well!" :) And she agreed.

I was adopted and am grateful for all they did for me. My adoptive mother died when I was 16 but my dad lived to be 80 and I took after him in so many ways. I found my natural mother on my own and we were quite close in so many ways plus I looked just like her. Could never find my natural father but thats okay 'cause I had my wonderful intelligent Daddy. Adoption is good but the child's roots(genealogy) should not be erased.

I tell people that I have three kids. The oldest is actually my daughter's boyfriend that has been living with us for two years.... he moved in about 6 months after he turned 18. He hadn't graduated yet, because of the circumstances he'd been in and he surely needed stability. He's been calling me mom for even longer than those two years. On his graduation day, he gave me a hug and said, "If it weren't for you and dad [he was referring to my husband], I wouldn't have graduated." Just last year, he told me that he doesn't even think he'd be alive today if it weren't for us. He got his driver's license in February and just got his first car. He works full time and I couldn't be prouder. So... we kinda adopted an adult.

Man this made me cry, I was in a foster home since I was 13 with my younger sister and brothers. They where 6, 5 and 4 years old at the time. I was adopted at the age of 16 and so were my younger siblings at the ages of 9, 8 and 7 by our foster mom and dad. The thing is is I knew my foster mom even before we where put into foster care because I roamed the streets alot with my siblings (bad childhood parents didn't take care of us and I had to fend for my siblings and I) and I used to talk to my foster mom alot at the store she worked at. And then I went "missing" and my siblings stopped going to see her because I moved towns to live with my aunt. She started praying for us that we were ok and still alive and she had it on her heart to become a foster parent with her hubby and after she took the classes and passed the house thing she got a call that same day asking if she could take in 3 siblings and she said yes most definitely. She if course didn't know who they were till they got to her house and boy was she suprised that it was the kids she had been praying for but without me. Then I went to visit them and knew I wanted to be with them and since I was 13 I had a choice and told the social worker I wanted to live with my siblings. We were all able to be adopted 3 years later and if was the judges first time have all 4 siblings adopted together and it was a blessing to him to see and to be able to be a part of keeping a family together like that.

Try not to cry? Yeah right. I was flat out sobbing! My brother married a woman who already had 3 daughters, the youngest of which has never known life without him in it. She legally changed her last name to his because her biological father was not the one who raised her on a daily basis. He was only there when it was convenient for him. The other videos that rip me apart are when the military service members reunite with their families, but especially the ones where they surprise their kids. So I was already so congested from having bronchitis, now it's worse from sobbing! I blame you Kabir!🤣❤
