I toured the White House when I was in 8th grade like a zillion other people. One of my classmates fell and broke his nose. The Secret Service took him to an elevator and down several levels to an ER where they patched him up and sent him back to our group about an hour later. He said that he barely remembers anything about it since he was in pain and everything was so fast, but he got to see some parts of the WH that no one sees unless you work there.

If you read Wayback in history, there was actually a time where you could just pull up on your horse and buggy and say that you want to speak to the president and you could get in. Hard to imagine there was ever a day like that.

Bro when I was a baby I was given a bullmastiff puppy as a birthday gift. We grew up together and he was my bestest friend but not only are bullmastiffs... Well massive, but if you do research the bullmastiff bite is the STRONGEST BITE OF ANY BREED! Their bite is equivalent to that of a LIONS bite force!!

The US Navy SEALs use Belgian Malinois because they weigh less than a German Shepard. This is important when jumping out of planes. Extra weight can affect the parachute and how it operates.

I have a 12 yo Belgium Malinois. He was just diagnosed with cancer but he isnt in pain so we are treating his cancer with some cancer vaccine for his specific cancer to boost his body to fight off the cancer cells. He's my 1st mate, my best bud and friend. He was raised along with my oldest daughter who's 11 yo. They are so loyal and happy. They also don't like to show you they are sad or in pain so you have to be really keen to detecting this kind of thing early.

@@SherriLyle80s one of my bestfriends dad is a cop & have a Belgian malinois that they train relentlessly. They didn’t give him bite training as not to risk accidentally biting someone (moms order) but that dog is viscous, i dog watched for them when they were out of town 5 times & I’d take him out, ride the 4wheeler to run him at like 35mph & he’d keep up with me this is after he got bit by a copperhead snake years ago & almost died, still doesn’t have fur where he got bit, but when I first met him, he ripped my sweatshirt that was brand new (mom sowed it back up, don’t blame the dog, that’s his instincts it didn’t hurt) but nah that’s when I learned to respect those malinois. I’ve had a German Shepard x golden retriever mix for 12 years & she’s my best friend but I’m gonna get a trained Belgian malinois over anything, who gives a fuck about a nice car nah, I’ll take the pro guard dog. One time my boy called me over & told me to bring a piece of clothing I had worn, dog sniffed it & then told me to take off on the 4wheeler & try to hide (testing his tracking ability) & I went ab a half mile away, hid as best I could. Give it 30 mins & the dog found me. I was dumbfounded. Quite literally tracked my ass down from the sniff of my used clothing

actually washington made the plans but it was not fully built out until John Adams in 1800. It was burned completely to ground during the war of 1812. it wasn't until 1817 it was rebuilt into the house you see now at least the central wing. Chester author made the first real renovations which last until 1902. teddy Roosevelt ordered immediate renovations after putting his foot straight through the second floor once just doing one step out of his bed. Truman made massive reconstruction in 49 due to how bad it got as the building was literally falling apart. Jackie Kennedy made more design change on the interior to reflect better styles. The modern work on it is more towards the garden and fences maybe office work. not much to the actual house.

I'm honestly shocked it's only rated at $400 million. I bet that's just the stuff we know about and can sort of calculate with the common things found on the surface level. I'm sure all the other things we don't know about would drive the price tag up even further. But honestly, as a tax paying citizen. I wouldn't care if it was worth $400 billion. Don't care which political party or which sex currently holds the office. The cost to protect them and the building should be considered an infinite blank check in my mind.

2100 feet is 700 yards which is 180 yards less than a half mile. One Foot is 12 inches, 3 feet is 1 yard and and 1 meter is just a little over 3 inches longer than 1 yard.

Converting from inches to centimeters and back again can throw most people off. A mile is over 5000 feet so 2100 feet are less than half of a mile. Sorry. An impressive distance, nonetheless, which I suspect was the point. No one with good security talks about it. The minute you hint to one person, your security is compromised. The military, as well as the secret service, are responsible for the security of the White House. If there is one thing the military is firm and consistent (and it is) about, it is need to know. And no one on KZread needs to know. If any of the security team or a procurement officer assisted with this video, it would be to offer decoy information. Fun to watch but outdated or false. If I were a betting man, I would put money on systems that are unknown to the world at this time.

Back in 1998-99 we took a trip to DC and although if you really wanted a special tour with the Capitol (certain places you can't go without a Congressman's aide) you need to write your closest local congressman for this particular tour, it was awesome. But to actually go into the White House there was no 21 day application, although the waiting line is long and can be cancelled for whatever reason. But I'll admit it was long ago so may be different now. Even as an American the vacation was unbelievable ❤☮

There's been talk that the 9/11 plane that went into Pentagon was taken down. I'm not sure how true it might be. The one in Shanksville was supposedly making a turn to head to WH/Capitol Bldg Anytime President leaves the WH by motorcade to Helo, then AF1 traveling to another city. Wherever they go, in the nearest most advanced Trauma Center to their location. An advance team of Agents scout the layout ingress and egress to Operating Room, Helo pad, Trauma Unit. An agent will be stationed in the ER/Trauma Unit so long as the President is in the area, with a private phone for direct communication. It's white, not red. At least last time I saw one. An Agent will even be parked out front of George Washington University Hospital, when President is on move. As distance from WH to the old GW Hospital is roughly 4224 feet. So less than a mile The reason, from what I've heard while working there. Is that when Reagan was shot, and Agent called ahead to Hospital to notify the of the Presidents arrival ... The reply was "Yeah right" and they hung up For someone who idolized Reagan. Seeing the Trauma Bay where he was "resucitated" was like hallowed ground. Of course it's not there now, as they built new hospital across street from the old one
