Not quite, he was famous in the US rap community but he didn’t have a song that was a big hit in America and never even had a UK number 1, Central Cee and Dave are going to be two of the biggest rappers in the world and truly bridge the gap because not only are they very high level but the US rappers coming up lately aren’t good at all, Baby Keem is the only one with big potential tbh. Dave is at Kendrick level lyricism and Cench is just a genius at promoting himself, and building an audience

I agree with comment above, he hasn’t quite yet hit that point and the songs he has with US artists hasn’t even touched top 20 on the billboard 100, but Doja went straight to top 20 and is continuously growing on tiktok and that means shit is getting played everywhere on the radio and different music platforms

I think Slowthai got pretty big in US as well, maybe not in numbers as Central Cee but he had features with a lot of american rappers like A$AP, Curry, Kevin Abstract etc. CC's sound might be more brithish though

Dave and Central Cee will really blow in America imo, Cench is already tbh but Dave is a better rapper and I see the US audience starting to look to the Uk now because the young US rappers are nearly all terrible, the one with potential is Baby Keem but he’s never getting to a huge level imo. Dave is one of the best lyricists around and makes hits for fun and Cench is just a genius at expanding his audience

You're from the UK so you are just being biased tbh. 99 percent of UK rappers are terrible and don't have a unique sound. There are tons of American rappers in their 20s that are way bigger and more popular and get hundreds of millions of views than any UK rapper. It will always be that way. And no, Central Cee is not even close to blowing up in America lol. Even many people from UK listen to American music more than central cee. Just look at Polo G, he is younger than central cee and already way more famous around the world, just look at his numbers they don't lie. He literally sells out arenas all over the world, just look how crazy people went at Wireless. I don't think any UK rapper will truly blow up worldwide anytime soon, mostly because people around the world just associate rap music with American culture most of the time. That being said, I do like Dave and think he has more potential than central cee.
