I discovered her 10 years ago and love Another Earth, I Origins and Sound of My Voice along with The East and The OA.

This tree thing is so interesting. I also have a particular affinity with trees, and I remember the ones that have left a mark on me. They're so different from all living things. They have an intrinsic wise, quiet nature. The passionate way in which she speaks, I see it as if she's pulling things from her insight. Like she allows herself to be expressive from that place. Maybe in that way, she feels like an INFP, just like you mentioned in the Anya Taylor video; they don't mind exposing that. This might be the equivalent of an INFJ, but it rarely shows. It would depend on the type of conversation. I've seen something similar with Tom Hiddleston, who is often typed as INFP. What if it's about having intuitive parents? Or an intuitive friend who listens, being able to express yourself more freely. As well as the circumstantial aspect of her job allows her to do that often. Another thing I noticed is their interest in the ethereal, subtlely reflected in how they dress, style their hair, or the projects they are involved in. And, yes! Definitely check out the OA. As well as her movies. It is a reflection of that beautiful rich inner world. Thank you so much for taking my request!

Enjoyed reading and pondering on this comment. Admittedly, I am a little confused about what you mean about a few things specifically. You are meaning the Fi thing right? Maybe we didn't touch on it in the video, but I remember talking to Rose about it sometime after. We are convinced that she speaks that way because of an Fi influence. You are absolutely right about Tom Hiddleston, he definitely has some kind of learned Fi way of speaking too, I never noticed that before. The Parental Culture thing is something we will be looking into more in the future, at least where we can. Hopefully I have understood your comment correctly. What definitely confuses me though is the intuitive friend thing.. what do you mean by that? Why intuitive precisely? Hope I haven't put you on the spot 😅I am genuinely very curious to hear your thoughts.

@@typebook Yes, exactly. I meant the Fi thing. I wonder if it's about having an Fi influence or perhaps having intuitive friends because maybe you would develop the ability to express your insight and intuition more often. Just because of the type of conversation that would typically take place and how far it would go with another intuitive. I think the passion she expresses comes directly from being able to share her intuition. It's exciting to put a little bit of her inner world into words. INFPs may feel similar because they don't seem to mind sharing their insights, while INFJs are more private in that way apparently, maybe because they are so aware of how people will receive it and will have an idea of how that would go beforehand, I don't know. But when it happens, the force of that excitement is what makes it seem so passionate in her delivery. Beyond all that, I think INFJs can be like that when they allow themselves to do so.

Your observations are so insightful and beautifully articulated. I loved reading this! The ethereal essence she reflects is something I've noticed too. She's spellbinding in a gentle way. You've hit on a very significant variable with the parents/friends!! I think about that all the time. If I hadn't been abused and stifled by parental figures and religious cults as a child, I would express myself very differently. I really admire that ability Brit has to be unapologetically effusive and joyful when she talks about her passions.

You should watch the movies she wrote and starred in. They're so unique! Also, I really appreciate that you checked Brit's MBTI personality. I am an INFP, and I was always drawn to her interviews. I always thought she was an INFP, but you could be right on this. And she does really have an INFP vibe about her somehow (adoptive INFP, haha that was good). It feels like she's one of those interesting people you want to talk to all day about our questions in life, about the universe and our existence. I live for those type of conversations. I just discovered your channel. I love it.. I do have some suggestions. If ever you might consider reviewing personalities of these amazing women! I'd be forever greatful! Jane Goodall, Rooney Mara, Cate Blanchett, Saoirse Ronan, Lea Seydoux, Winona Ryder, Hailee Steinfeld, Morfydd Clark, Jodie Comer, Maya Hawke, Emma Stone, Emma Watson 🥰

Have recently been watching the OA and it's great. What else has she starred in? We've already made a video typing Emma Stone, which you can find here on our channel. We have added the others to our list. Thank you!

@@typebook Some of the best ones Brit has written are the indie films, "Another Earth" and "Sound of My Voice". But my favorite she starred in is "I, Origins" directed by her friend Mike Cahill, the friend he mentioned on her interview on your video when they were just starting out on making short films. Yes! Thank you, my bad. I saw Emma's video on your list. I'm so happy you added the ones I suggested on your list. I won't expect you would type them all, but wooo.. I can't wait. 🥰

It was funny when you said it was strange watching your own type, I was feeling the same way. The first thing I noticed is how deep everything went, and how offbeat it made her seem. I then immediately realized I'm in the exact same boat, that's why it stood out to me.

As an INTJ it stands out to me very quickly too. It happens with ENTP as well, I am immediately hooked. My own type is a difficult one, we are extremely selective with our behaviour and hard to get to know. I really need to see some specific instances to type my own type quickly. Very shady! 🥸 -Chris or is it, really?

@@typebook I agree, I don't think I know any INTJs in the wild. Just a few intensely quiet people I suspect could be but don't know very well. And they probably aren't as likely to become well known public figures, outside of their exceptional accomplishments. I was thinking it would be interesting to cover more literary figures, you'd probably find INTJs in that pool. Not that I have any great suggestions but I'll give it some thought.

Excellent another INFJ, I really see myself in her, not necessarily the very Fi language you highlighted but in the description of her reaction to the film ... and the hand gestures they are very much what I would do. In my case I know that comes from my mother, myself and my sister both replicate her gestures whether or not they are actually implicit in our type. I haven't typed my mother, other than to notice she has Fe high in the stack. I also really noticed how she looks away when thinking as if to give Ti a boost by reducing Se, that's something I do as well.

Always look forward to reading your comments. Being INTJ I do hand gestures too, I imagine that's a type thing though, I don't tend to copy people very much. -Chris

Maybe her expressiveness is not learned. Maybe it just hasn't been inhibited by her family and the culture. She admitted she was sheltered.
