I have this song on many of my playlists, but though I do love the song, it always brings memories of my ex-girlfriend. I didn’t have much luck in finding a significant other but after I got to know her, I thought that she might be the one. My feelings would develop more and more as time would go on and right at our winter ball she confessed her feelings towards me, one of the best nights of my life. We would soon start dating and everyday felt like bliss with her. She would be there for me when I felt like I was breaking down, as I would do the same. She was my first everything. She would always reassure me that even on the chance that we didn’t work out she was there for me. Little did I know that it would all change as the pandemic would hit. It altered our bonding and our priorities as we both worried about our families. Before I knew it, she wanted to break up, not because feelings being diminished, but as she thought it was the best decision for her at the time. Even with this heart breaking news, I couldn’t bring myself to hate her in anyway as she helped me in so many ways. This song, to me, would be my constant reminder of how much she would effect me and how much I’m grateful towards her, as she broke up with me on June 3rd. Thank you Briston Maroney for such a beautiful song.

Been rocky for a while and then in May we had a great month things started going back to like before, we celbrayed our anniversary on the 31sr and it was great, i fell in love and then came June. All the progress we made was just a flash in the pain

this song reminds me of my ex and the lessons i learned in life. I dont miss my ex or care about her as i used too. but this brings memories of the good times. June is the month her birthday was and june was also a traumatic event last year. The month june also is when school is over and june is also my brothers birthday. June is such a powerful month for me.

To me it reminds me of falling in love in highschool(prom) before graduation. Where once June came, he realized that the relationship wouldn't last after high school. Now that he had his big highschool romance, he's going to be a new person for college and now he's realizing that his love for her was out of conviencience of highschool. He realized how he finally got what he wanted but it wasn't what he thought it was. Especially when he said "when you let me walk away."

I like getting drunk and crying to this song... Well i dont like it just cant help it. Speaks to me

Still working on letting go of past, and trying to not let myself bring back up and think of all the heartbreaks, all the lies, just all the things thst im angry about. I dont let myself get wrapped up thnking how my feelings, an my well being, my sanity, my heart was not a concern hers. She didnt mind lying or partaking in shady behavior, or manipulating me, manipulating people aroundnus to where she had convince them thst it was all in my head and thst I was just paranoid. She continued lying manipulation, and actively kickingnme down as far as possible. But now those thiughts of her unfaithfulness and lies no longer barmbarded my thoughts.

Idk if you've ever been in a a similar situation to what I did, but it becomes clear that no matter how long it's been no matter how much you think you have healed, the emotions, pain, sadness, etc: will never completely go away. But time makes it easier. Thanks for your support
