Brisket Smoked In The Pit Barrel Cooker | 13.5 Pounder!

Cooked a beautiful 13.5-pound full-packer brisket on the Pit Barrel Cooker using beef and game rub. It came out tender and juicy and had an amazing-looking bark.
Ingredients:
• 1 Large Brisket
• Olive Oil
• Seasoning (I used beef and game rub)
• Beef Broth, Beer, or Apple Juice (I used beef broth)

Looks good John. Just got the PBX barrel at $199 @ academy sporting, and watching many vids. You going 170 gets better bark. Im thinking hanging the hooks at both ends, since i got a bigger barrel, so the tail of the brisket closet to the coals cooks even. Great job!

You got a good deal on that PBX and I have done some cooks with hooks on both ends. It’ll work fine. Let me know how it comes out!
