This guy was a genius. Every song is a banger, not a lot of artists can say that, especially these days. We’re missing out on so much. I can’t believe everyone slept on him before he passed, and after. The world is still asleep. I’ll always keep Bris’ name and music alive. Timeless classics of gangster rap. I can’t be the only one that sees the talent. I just don’t get how he didn’t blow up. I don’t get how his enemies in Sac were so blinded by hate and envy, so as to kill their only superstar. I feel like Bris could have easily switched the style a little and hopped on more mainstream cuts. We’ll never know. The same lifestyle that got him killed is what made him such a great artist. His death and the foreshadowing almost makes the story more real and thus more appealing. Of course, we’d all prefer he lived to be like 100, but at least he was true story til the end.
