The most cohesive "how to play" and the most fun playthrough I've watched on youtube!!! Scratched my head several times on some of the rules on other Brink video but answered simply just by watching yours. Please cover Arcs too!!

Really excited for this one. It's the rare game I've backed that doesn't come with a solo mode because of how much I've enjoyed IV's games that I own.

"What have I done?" "Look what you did." I love you two. I really like this sci-fi ascetic; clean and simple. With the changes they're making, gaming will be focused and my colorblind friend shouldn't have issues. Thank you for presenting another game that I think I'll enjoy.

Always love your reviews! Always clear and helpful and have sometimes been the deciding factor for my backing of campaigns. While there are similar channels I routinely watch, Before You Play is always reliable and interesting. Thanks so much.

At 23:12 we see Naveen draw 2 action cards but we don't see him discard one. There's a cut, so I'm not sure if he discarded a card off camera or kept and played both cards (before Naveen starts playing action cards when placing his third ship we see him holding 4 cards in his hand, suggesting he did not discard a card, but I guess it's possible one of them was a rider card).

Hi there, yeah it was cut out in the edit. I debated for a little bit which card to keep and the flow was strange in the edit so we just cut it.

How do you guys feel about the rng in the game, is it okay or too much? The exploration, action cards, and rider cards together make it seem a little swingy to me.

IV Games sure knows how to market a game. But when will they match their visuals with equally amazing gameplay?

I initially liked IV studios, but looking beyond the nice polish on their games, I find the artwork is uninspired and flat in their games. It seems those flaws are present in this games mechanics as well. ARCS seems like a superior take in every way on a unique space contention game which combines mechanics that aren’t usually paired.

Arcs main trick taking mechanic is pretty painful though. Not a fun experience. Not taking away from what you said about IV studios

I dont get why people keep comparing this game to ARCS, there is almost nothing similar between these two games outside of space theme. arcs is trick taking 4x, bring is worker placement negotiation. I own ARCS and look forward to owning brink as well :)
