Haha, there's so many Probiuses I made in Starcraft, but they are afraid of Widow Mines. At least here, Probius is (mostly) safe (except from my own stupidity). Imagine they made a Widow Mine hero in HOTS though...

Lol, the hero where patience and position is key, find a good spot, burrow and play the waiting game. I actually wish there was more heroes with burrow, like a stasis but still able to take damage. Would fit Abathur or Anub @@GrubbyPlays

I mean there’s also a marine (two, debatably), a firebat, a medic, a ghost, and a siege tank, just to name the Terran units. Man, the cass save was amazing. Your duo queue vids are the best.

You've also got Queens, Zerglings, Hydralisks, Mutalisks, Banelings, Ultralisks and Nydus Worms for the Zerg, and Zealots, Dragoons, High Templar, Dark Templar, Probes and a cameo appearance of the Spear of Adun for the protoss. Also nobody mentioned Banshees, spider mines and bunkers, but we've got those here too.

@@th3bigbomb To be fair, when we first saw Tychus back in the Wings of Liberty Launch trailer he was essentially just a basic marine. In HoTS (No, the other one), Raynor's the basic Marine. Tychus is something else.

a recent update, very recent... 1 year, 1½ maybe. Actually sad that they just left HotS hanging. They needed to change things up but it could still grow as a game. Many heroes are so much fun to play that aren't like in any other mobas, stuff work here that basicly can't work in other mobas, so very sad to see them abandoned it! :(

I was playing Probius a ton on Hots before switching back to dota, fun hero to play, but I kept running into issues with teamtes being super mad about my probius pick and a lot of the times not helping me at all. Seemed like a lot of people didn't know how to fight with him either.

That was a really nice game!)

I've spent so much time in this game, but I only got into it in it's sunsetting stage. This is by far the most enjoyable MOBA I've played, but also the most ignored by it's developer... If only all heroes were free :D but the grind is real. Keep up the great content Grubby

They need to develop 1-2 heroes in the pocket. Make all heroes free, release it to steam then copy dota or leagues financial model.

A lot of people tend to put Probeus on the bottom of their tier lists for HoTS characters, partly because he lives in the same house as The Lost Vikings, Murky and Abathur, characters who don't necessarily have a lot of personal fighting power but can give your team an edge by existing on the map... but in that archetype I do think the Probe is certainly the least self-sufficient. (Although AFAIK Abathur and TLV are considered really strong picks by people who know what they do) He's a space controller that takes a little time to get set up and doesn't get much done if the teamfight moves out of his space. Still, I love the economic backbone of the protoss armada because people don't realize how much damage Lord Oda Probunaga is doing until it's too late: those tower shots don't seem like much but they add up, especially if you're chasing him around and not getting any damage back to him in return.

Whoa, you are playing this based hero? Probius used to be one of my favorites, constant prediction based spam of abilities/feeling like the most efficient little worker.. but then they nerfed the Z, made him unplayable. Sad story.

probius has a pick rate of ~1.65% so its really not a problem. Maybe when you stopped he was picked more but i never see him. if you have bad psoitioning for the teamfight its not gonna be fun.
