Bringing our 8 month old baby to Kyushu to see her great grandmother [Japanese American family]
Our first part of our Japan trip was spent in Kyushu! We arrived in Haneda, and spent the night in Tokyo and then headed out to Oita, Beppu the next morning. Of course we had to make a few pitstops for food along the way. Food is one of Ryoji's favorite things about Japan! Ryoji was born in Oita and his grandmother and some of his family still lives there. It had been years since Ryoji had gone back home so it was so special that we got to bring out daughter Rhea, too. She was 8 months old the first time she got to travel to Japan and to Kyushu. This was also my first time seeing Chi Chi's house, which was SO cool. It was the traditional Japanese house that every foreigner dreams of seeing in Japan.We had such a wonderful few days spent in Oita.

奥さんは日本に3年住んでいた時期があるので嬉しいことに僕がいなくても1人でいろんなところに行けますし、日本にすごく慣れています😁✨

It is clear this is Kabira. The translators of the Quran interpret it as "do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with the Qur'an a great striving". However, Prophet Muhammad’s God is saying that Oh Prophet! Do not listen to the kafir (disbelievers, who instead of worshipping one God, worship other gods-goddesses and idols etc) because those people do not consider Kabir as the Supreme God. You may remain firm on the basis of the knowledge of the Quran given by me that, Kabir only is the Supreme God, and may struggle (Do Not Fight) i.e. remain rigid for Allah Kabir. ❤ PRESENT MESSENGER of ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR is SAINT RAMPALJI MAHARAJ 🙏🙏

Both of your families are so wonderful. I am a 4th generation Japanese that. Was born in Hawaii and want to go to Japan in 2025 with my son to see where my family history is from in Japan. I believe it’s around that area you are from. Maybe I’ll meet your beautiful family especially your beautiful sister. 🤙🏽

With the names of your great-grandparents, Japanese Consulate in Honolulu or Japanese Overseas Migration Museum in Yokohama (海外移住資料館) should be able to help you in pinpointing the exact city where they're from. (Perhaps there is similar info available from Japanese-American organizations as well.) Japanese Government maintains a record of KOSEKI (i.e. Family Registry/Tree) information of all 1st Generation Japanese Emigrants, which is how they are able to identify Japanese Descendants.
Rhea belle is a beautiful name but I wish she had a Japanese middle name. So she can choose which name she prefers when she grow up. Also Japanese names are beautiful like even the nicknames or naming after flowers are really cute. Mike Shinoda of Linkin park is also Japanese American and his name is Michael Kenji Shinoda. It's good to have cultural names and have pride in them especially when you're a minority in a particular place or country.

Hi there! We actually chose Rhea (レア) because it is a commonly used Japanese word for rare (special), even though it’s not a popular name. It’s not a common American name either, but both Americans and Japanese people will have no problem pronouncing it and writing it. She has a kanji, as well. 恋空 ❤️

おじさんちで70年前、隣のハウスのサージャンのベイビーを半日預かったけれど ベイビーが大きくてビックラこいた 横田ベースの街で育ったじじいです・・ 愛犬のボクサーの食事は・・牛の缶詰・・日本が負けたのを実感・・ すでに、ティッシュペーパBOXがありました・・70年前・・ ガーランドの鉄砲を持ったけど・・重かった・・ご主人はB29のパイロット 台風が接近すると、横田から台風の目に入って進行方向を確認していたようです 退役後はハワイと言っていましたが・・もう、遠い昔となりました ベイビー・・賢そうできっと良い子に育ちますよ
乳幼児に発酵食品は与えないようにしましょう。重篤な事になる場合もあります。 蜂蜜などは特に注意しないと中毒症状が起きる場合があります、免疫が大人と違うので注意が必要です
