Bringing my FAT MIATA to AUTOCROSS! (NC MX5 Cone Dodging)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
If you want to get into motorsport but aren't sure where to start Autocross is an economic way to safely beat the absolute bejeezus out of your car, and maybe learn a few things about car control and what a cone sounds like when it slaps into your bumper.

Thank you for dropping the Initial D music for that Toyota. I was dying 😝
Your explanation at the beginning was very good. Also, image stabilization ftw.
Wow, very informative. I had no idea how the cones worked. Thanks.
I really enjoyed this video, Jake! No one has ever explained how the process and how the cones work. I really appreciated the instructions. Thank you so much, you are a really well coordinated driver, much better than you claim to be. I look forward to your next video and to your next cameo appearances in someone else’s Wichita channel!
"But I've got the memory of a goldfish, so that rarely works out"😆 😆 😆 Seriously though, I got interested in autocross 👀 Chris Rudnik (Ricer Miata) and I think you did fairly well on your course. I know it's going to be a 👍 day when I see 100% Jake show up in my feed!! Thanks for posting!

I frequently search for my phone only to remember I'm currently talking to somebody on it.
Nice launch on the 1st run! Loved the rev limiter caption lol -- all 4 runs looked VERY fast from the in car view. Excellent tips from the pro too. That 86 is amazing.... would love to see that one in person. Definitely big Initial D fans at our house :) Loved the music at 15:12.
I live in the UK, had no idea what auto cross was, very cool, thanks for sharing. Liked and subscribed. John
You are not building, but practically raising a car. Always fun to watch !
I used to race autocross for many years. First in F stock and then E-Street prepared. Won a lot of races and even a season championship. You did great on that 1st run and watching this makes me want to get out there and race again. I still have my 98 Z28 (which I've owned for 18 years) and it still has all the mods I made. Just need to get some new 200 treadwear tires and a new alignment. Thanks for getting me excited about getting back out there!
Looked like fun Jake. Good times
Pretty cool stuff! I’ve got a friend who autocrosses a C5 Z06.
Nice AE86! You should get one of those to renovate
way to go after that driver mod!
Nice video! Enjoyed it. Was that some kind of stabilization on the video when you were driving?
Why did you need to make this video
