The world: on fire Drewsif: 3:43 Dude I love how much fun you have when you play. It's really contagious and adds a ton to how much I already like your music/engineering.
That low-key flip off at 4:38
Man, you're a treasure. This is just joyful to watch
The most underrated musician ever. Dude you're just amazing
You are hands down my favorite musician to listen to and watch. You just seem to have so much fun. Love it.
Duuude your caparison demos go wayyyyyyyy to good , I need these demos for sure
Just as always your demo is insanely good. Left me inspired definitely.
You're really talented man. Like seriously, video editing, mixing and mastering, song writing and guitar playing (and I know you can sing really well too). I wish I could do it all like you do.
Bought one of these based primarily on your review/demo. You were spot on in your description. Flawless (by my observation for what it’s worth) build quality as you said. Plays incredible outta the bag. I agree that the KSE sig pickup has a ton of low mid action happening. That said, as you asserted, it’s easy to deal with in post. Thanks again, man! Slammin’ precision instrument!
Super solid as always!
Sick Killswitch inspired riffs holy crap! You are such a mega talented guy. I really wish you had more exposure! I always go back to that After The Burial cover with the photograph melody/lyrics. Pure genius. I can tell from some of your rant videos that the overall way of youtube and stuff gets you down / frustrated... With all the work you put into videos I completely get it. We really appreciate your amazing videos and albums :)
I'm glad Caparison decided to send you another setup after the horrible things you did to the last one. ;P I thought you'd never finish naming the guitar. For those interested the song playing in the background at the beginning and in the outro is "To The Ark Part I: The Hunted" of the ToTheArk album. I like the inlays on this thing. The riff at 3:00 is groove AF. 3:43 enjoying yourself too much? Nah. Man the whole song you wrote was SICK! In regards to your questions at the end. Would I buy a guitar with a single pickup? I'd say unlikely for myself. I find the utility of having access to as many configurations and voicings as possible almost essential. However, I think it might be likely in the not too distant future that pickup technology takes off further into the stratosphere to where single pickups are more viable without having to compromise as much in terms of versatility. I do think that the simpler aesthetic of a stripped down style guitar is appealing at least to me. I have never been one that's a huge fan of wild guitar shapes (warlock I am looking at you). Overall I think you did a nice job in this review. Provided both likes and dislikes. Featured all sorts of tones and styles in the song you wrote. Awesome video as always, man.

Ooof. Now I can't wait to hear this one. That whole song was fyaaaaaah!!
fking hell, drew you are such a musical musician mastermind. such a unique style
my dude you're straight fire, insta subbed
For real though....I forget that I'm watching a review and just focus on the super badass riffs. Excellent in every way man💯💯💯💯
Good balance between humor, distance and a fairly factual presentation. You were probably the first one to show the TAT body and neck profile seen from above. This is an important feature. The icing on the cake would be if you showed how low / high the factory string action is. Greetings😎
Hey man! I bought the dellinger 7 you reviewed! I love it!
I remember you saying you only had 2 guitars like, years ago lol. Glad to see you posting videos again, buddy. I knew about Caparison guitars from Mattias Eklundh's channel, every model looks and sounds awesome! Now I just gotta muster up the fucking courage to pay for one of those bastards
I’ve always loved Jerry Cantrell’s Blue Dress guitar. Single humbucker, volume knob and that’s it. Super badass. I’d still miss being able to switch pickup configurations though.
This was amazing
New musics?! Whens?! Wooo! Duude! Whatever it was that you played.. sounded fuggin awesome!!
4:58 Oh no man ... come on ... i'm ready ... come on !!
You’re such a great songwriter and rhythm player bro it’s unreal
I really love you man!
Inner teenager in me still wants dat Jackson RR24, so ... I guess single pickup guitar would totally work for me
Love the tone here. The low mid squish from those pickups/that guitar really has that KsE sound to it. That's usually right in the realm of tones I go for, nice and thick single notes, but allowing chords to breathe enough. That being said, your usual brighter tones work incredibly well for the style you play, and I couldn't imagine it any other way. Keep up the great content, Drewsif!

The Dude thanks (the) dude! I really do like them for what they do, but I’m slowly learning I’m a scooped mids guy 😰
@thedudeofficial69
4 жыл бұрын
@@ItsDrewsif Hey, for what it's worth scooping the mids blends very well & has a nice grind to it. I generally run mids anywhere between 11-1 o'clock + an airis savage boost, so not *that* much mids--usually get just a hair of mids from other sources like an EQ bump at 1k-2k. But that's also with a darker (mahogany/maple) 7 string with BKP Black Hawks.
I have this guitar and really love the pickup. I’m a huge Killswitch fan and that’s mostly the style I play. I haven’t felt like I’m missing out. I have the EMG 80/85’s and personally I would take this Fishman over them. Great review though. I paid $3499 for it and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.
End of Heartache musical wink was dope !!
Definitely brought metalcore back. That was the thiccest juiciest KZread guitar demo song I’ve ever heard.
Sick!!!
You sir should be sent way more guitars, this is priceless 🤘
Fucking killer riffs my guy. I need the chord at 4:01 in ma life thank you.
I have two of these old Christian Olde Wolbers Jackon Guitars with just one pickup in the bridge. I don't need more to be honest. Love the simplicity. I really enjoy the song you wrote in this video. Will the song (with vocals) be available anywhere? Thanks :)
I have the ESP LTD Stephen Carpenter SC607B1H which is the stain purple One pickup baritone 27” 7 string. & it’s a beast for sure.

Chandler Callahan those are awesome guitars man!
3:42 happy drew makes a happy dawz
I wish I could like this infinite times.
Man I just bought a music man and kinda wish I got one of these. Great review.
The back-angled neck is actually a super old school thing, from Gibson etc, and I really wanna know if it's there because he happens to like the feel of those older designs, or if it somehow helps his back.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Y'all niggaz didn't think Drewsif wasnt gonna be thumping🙌 damn Drewsif this one was super sexy. Drew-switch Enslave should be the name of this song
Nice Manscaping dj0b on your Caparison :O
I have nothing but fixed bridges and emg's in bridges. However, I wouldn't mind having like a slanted single coil in the neck for cleans but other than that, I've felt more in tune with my guitars and the tone they produce, the less stuff and junk there is between the pickup and output jack, the raw-er, pure the guitar sounds.
Is there a download for the song? That was intense. Love ya man.
Dude what amp or plugin are you using it sounds awesome!
Everyone should enjoying playing guitar as much as you seem to, rock on brother!
God damn dude. That was fucking sick. Sounded very Killswitchey in places.

Wrote this comment before finishing the video and heard you talk about Killswitch. Clearly that was intentional.
The king of tone ladies and gentlemen. And the metal genre is better for him being here
special sentance in russian for Drewsif Stalin for such amazing sound: "otval bashki!" [отвал башки] - fucking head off! - most increadable riffs I heard in this year.
song was fire.
Would like to see the jsm reviewed I want to buy one
I was gonna get this, but the single Humbucker put me off, so now I'm looking at the dellinger jsm Joel signature.
@Guitarist19887
Жыл бұрын
Did you get the jsm in the end? Driving me nuts i like this ones specs! But yeah jsm is nice
I have no clue what you said, but it sounds good
What size frets does it have?
Never seen this guitar played without a tutu and jorts, I don't know what to feel anymore.
I dont get how this dude isn't a major name in the scene, so much fken talent its beyond me, amazing riffage, can sing and scream, production skills etc etc...
How’s the 27 fret access feel? Looks like it would be a really good guitar for a touring musician. Also what tuning did you use for the demo?
@ItsDrewsif
4 жыл бұрын
Alex R the 27th fret access is SUPER easy, as per usual with caparison! This thing would definitely be a tour winner, nice and simple and ultra solidly built. Tuning was Drop C, as the guitar comes in D standard.
nice
I would like the solo to be on spotify ♥️
Adam D approved i guess.
Is the song in spotify by any chance?

If KSE came out in 2020. Great little references to the players that are famous for playing these guitars.
What's the song dude? It's amazing
Bruh, you got a tab for this tasty jam?
I hear you when you say no neck pickups. But this vid makes me think different. I think the tones speak for itself!
I have a single pickup 7 string. I enjoy it but the pickup; a Steph Carpenter Fishman takes it a step futher than the KsE ones. Its like paying an 808 or a trap mixtape.
my face at 3:38...., catchy as fuck!!

What you played to demo the guitar is worth KSEs discography.
3:56 I see what you did there
Great guitars. There's just no Comparison.
Can you react to Archspire!
5:06 shieeeeeee
Holy fucking Jesus what are you using for your guitar, bass and drum patches. Also if I could write like this I’d never leave my house lol
Those 5 dislikes are Josh Travis 😂

HOLEY CAMOLEYS

Every time you review a guitar you play some of the most mind blowing riffs on them! I just don't get it.
What is going on
I would get a single pickup guitar in a heartbeat. I never use neck pickup. They are always to fuzzy of a sound for me not a fan.
yo can we get more vignetting
