In German you could use "Schone" which means "beautiful one" (the "o" has an umlaut over it in German). And when addressing the bike you could say "meine Schone" which means "my beautiful one". Or you could use "meine Schatz" which means "my dear one".

You could also use the word "Liebchen" which means "my little love". A term of endearment in German.

A Chinese knockoff of a Harley-Davidson, has the spirit of a Pink Rabbit that beats his drum and advertise a brand of batteries. Chinese knockoffs are more reliable.

Wow what a beauty that Option 719! R18 tc owner here and turns out we have so much in common. My first bike back in 1999 was a '98 Triumph Thunderbird Sport...then a few others....then last year was my first Harley, a brand new '21 Ultra and I love love love that bike might never let it go, then two months ago for some strange reason unknown to the universe, still loving the FLHTK, I was drawn to 'dem R18's so I went all in again and got the R18 tc. Something special about those R18's, a crazy mix of refinement bolted to a couple of ludicrous 900cc jugs--don't know how else to describe it haha! Now the name.....mine is Mathilda, yep German as it gets. Meaning is "strength in battle" so fitting given BMW's long history in motorcycle racing. Enjoy that beaute of yours and keep pumpin out the great content yo!

I'm on my second BMW. 1st was an S1000XR and now I ride a K1600B. Awesome bikes all around and the dealer by me are amazing and have amazing customer service. Have fun out there, keep it on two wheels!

BMW is very smart. You'll sell a lot of bikes for them with your enthusiasm and subscriber numbers. With all the love you gave to that Road Glide, Harley missed an opportunity not including you more prominently in their CVO roll out. Loving the close up content of this video too. I'm a snowbird also, wintering in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. No more snow for me. Life and health insurance is a must. Ride safe 😋👍🏾

Jess, what a beautiful, beautiful bike. Happy for you. Please listen to your own wisdom and get medical insurance. After 30 years of riding motorcycles, I finally got hit by a car in Southern California. If it wasn’t for my GoPro camera the lying Cager would’ve got away with it. I was awarded a six-figure award, and I’m back to riding again. Please make sure that you have large amounts of coverage for uninsured, and under insured motorist, that could possibly hit you. Again, love the videos, love that beautiful bike. Keep the rubber side up, and be safe in all that you do.

you're not the only one in here. I recently test rode a BMW 750GS in the super-low suspension/seat configuration, and that thing was *Awesome*. But that one didn't have the opposed low-slung engine thing the 1800 has. Its narrow frame was nice for me. I sat on the 1800 and it was just so clunky feeling to me-- but I ride a Honda Rebel 500, so the low-down brick of an engine was alien to me. If I was a Harley gal I think I wouldn't be that put off by the massive engine chunks down low. My cousin has a BMW 1800 and he f*ckin loves that thing to pieces. I can see that it's a great choice for a "big bike" rider like Jess. For me, I'm seriously considering that lowered GS idea....it was soooo sweet.

Congrats, Pretty Bike. As the saying goes, "If you can park and walk across the parking lot without looking back at your new car/bike, Then you bought the wrong one." All of my vehicles are years old, but I have to look back every time.

Cool paint scheme! Happy for you that you've got your own BMW R18 Bagger now! Ride safe and have lot of safe miles and make the 1st service. As for life insurance it's a good thing to have for the ones you would be left behind if you're gone. It's a great piece of mind to have it sorted if anything was bound to happen.

It does LOOK GREAT... It is "a design style". Nice bike... Congrats. I have a BMW R1150RT, 2004, 48K miles. Going on a 2000 mile 2 week trip, camping in 5 or 6 states. I love my BMW. Every time I think of getting a new bike, I realize I have the best bike for me. I would love electronic cruise. This has adaptive cruise? Wow.... My cars have cruise (common almost all cars made in last 10-15 yrs), but my cars are not adaptive.

Love your thought process AND THE BMW. Insurance tip is appreciated. 62 years younger trying to get reasonable life for retirement. You are greatly enjoying to follow. 😊

In 2000, I sold motorcycles at a Japanese Big 4 dealership. One of my co-workers was basically a nothing-but-BMW rider. He taught me a bunch about old Beemers. They do look good fo sho. Enjoy the new moto-sikkie!

Raina means Queen in German. Had a pit/rot mix I named Raina and she was the best dog I've very had. Loyal, obedient and always pleasant.

What a wonderful surprise! I was a big fan of your black R18B. And back when you first got that one you asked for naming suggestions, I offered “Brunhilda”. A loud, fierce warrior queen in Germanic mythology. But now with that more elegant looking one I’m not so sure. Once again l’m looking forward to seeing it, and reading about your experiences with it. Congrat’s! Edit: I just noticed someone suggested Freyja. I’d give that a big thumbs up myself.

That is a BAD ASS bike. It's like the perfect blend of old school style with modern tech. I love the analog gauges with that huge screen right below, and the paint scheme is amazing. Great choice to add to the fleet

Yes, that is my favorite large bike. If I was going to get an 1800 cc bike I would get that one. However I have a 1300 cc cruiser and that is big enough for me.

I bought a 100th anniversary HD Ultra, on an impulse while at the Dealership, inspecting and prepping my 95 Ultra for my “Ride Home” to the end of the 100th anniversary Celebration in Milwaukee! I rode almost 200 miles a night, with each one of my 6 kids, in order to be through the 1000 mile service before leaving for the “Ride Home”! I did it in 5 days! You’ve got this! Godspeed Jess!

Beautiful bike! I just picked up the same color in my R18B! She is amazing and I love the metal-flake in the paint. I too had the cluch "clunk" but It went away after about 300 miles. Congrats on the purchase!

I had my first bike shipped to me. 2nd bike- fly and ride. From Arkansas to Los Angeles, 1500 miles in two days. 3rd bike- bus and ride. Arkansas to Dallas. Loved the immediate road trip on a new bike adventure.

There's a 2022 leftover at my local dealership in that purple/pearl shade that keeps calling my name.. She's beautiful!! Congratulations on a beautiful bagger! Also, you should name her Bavaria is the name given to a monumental, bronze sand-cast 19th-century statue in Munich, southern Germany. It is a female personification of the Bavarian homeland, and by extension its strength and glory. The statue is part of an ensemble which also includes a hall of fame (Ruhmeshalle) and a stairway.

GREAT BIKE!!!! Ive got R18B in black. Been riding for 40 years and can honestly say that it's the best bike I've ever owned. It does take a little while to get used to it but once you do, you will be in love.

nice bike. buddy got one of the first R18s. had buyer's remorse for a while but now loves it. i think they look great. the set up with the boxer is hard for someone like me at 6'3" and 13 shoes. i was wearing boots and had too little room for long time comfort. a little too much effort to change gears due to the lack of space. but for my buddy that is shorter with smaller feet, no issues.

Congratulations on the new bike! I have never seen an R18 with those colors. It is beautiful. I also picked up a new Beemer myself last month. I got the R1250 GS Ralley. I noticed that from first to second was a pretty good clunk on the quick shifter, but now that I am past break in, it has gotten much smoother. Enjoy your ride and it is great to have another fellow female rider on a BMW! I don't have a good idea for your bike's name, but my guy is named Wolfgang. I call him Wolfy for short 🙂

Hi Jess, maybe besides several health insurance packages and a life insurance, might it not be wise to look for a disability insurance in case of a severe (but not deadly) accident and you cannot continue anymore what you're currently doing and thus lose all your income? Very beautiful bike by the way!!! I can imagine you're very exited and happy to ride it.

OMG I was just tooling around on KZread and I came across this video. I also bought my 2020 RT at Motohio. Love Mike, Elizabeth, Dave and crew there. The R18s are great. I drove one at a test drive event a couple years ago. It's a lot of bike! Enjoy!

I have many trouble free miles on older BMWs , and they were rock solid. The newer ones seem to be hit and miss and the final drive issues some have had is a show stopper for me. BMW has been making bikes for 100yrs and the final drives should be 100% bullet proof by now. They are beautiful bikes though

I’m not usually a fan of these kinda bikes , but dam that is a beautiful thing. What a great bike love that you got a BMW instead of a Harley or Indian . Just gorgeous looking. What a paint job . I’ve always loved the old BMW bikes from the 60’s . Those Baxter engines are jus5 cool . 😊you either love ‘em or hate em. Lol . Cruise control and it knows when to slow down for you . Very awesome especially when you get tired . Enjoy that gorgeous bike girly . Great taste you have . Yea I’m not a fan of the heel toe either . Break ins are so not the most fun but when you get to really give it the beans it’s like a new bike . 1800 cc must be like a couch on wheels . Don’t stop the ads till you can afford it .I will still watch . You will get someone to sponsor you. Hopefully BMW will do that for you .
