Technically speaking, 2 coil is more than is safe for factory suspension. The problems will not show up immediately, but there is a risk of damage to the shock absorbers and bodywork. With the factory shock absorbers and bump stops, the lowest measurement is 35cm (14 inch) when measured from the edge of the fender to the center of the wheel. With a 2cm (1 inch) shorter and harder bump stop, the lowest possible with the factory spring is 33cm. (13 inch). It is difficult to say how many coils should be cut for that dimension, because not every spring has the same number of coils, they are not all the same length, there are many combinations with factory cars.

I’ve been running mine for almost 8k miles with 2 cut and so far so good so this on is getting same threatment lol.

@@KOMPASGARAGE It runs smoothly until it doesn't. I measured the bump travel and did the math on that, I'm talking about 12 years of experience of suspension tuning and some 500 vehicles. When 3 or 4 coils are shortened, the result can be seen in a few months, with 2 or less it may take years, but it happens almost always especially if you hit a big pothole in the road... It's like tightening the engine head on the feel, it will work but for how long. But do as you wish 😉

What was it that you did to the lollipop for the shifter in your facebook post? I saw you put some bolts in it. Does it usually pivot?

It comes apart and you get stuck without shifter lol.

And it gives you nice stiffer shifter and more precise.

Prijatelju koji motor ide u onog juga sto spremas sa kanadjaninom da se trkas, ide li b16 kao sto on kaze, b18 ili k20? Pokusavam da ispratim kroz videe al mi nije jasno 😂
