Thanks for sharing this,it gave me peace of mind to see the process that a deceased loved one is treated with care and respect,I know my mom is going to be in good hinds the day she passes. She’s going to be around for a long time yet but she chose well choosing your company to be the one to take care of her on her final journey.

This is what it looks like in THIS establishment. Ask nicely at your preferred funeral home if you can see their back prep rooms and just wait for their answers. Don't expect to see the cleanliness/order and respect for the deceased you see here.

I really believe all funeral homes should let people walk around there entire premises. I've been to one in Sheffield who keeps loved ones in a garage. No racking or trays just leaves the person on the stretche.an air conditioning unit from the B&Q .and one Chapel of rest that's not fit to let a dog sleep in . The entire industry needs regulating.

I have just fallen upon your page purely by accident. I want to thank you for this wonderful film, but I do have a question. My father passed away 6 years ago. Sadly due to total lack of care in the hospital, I had to agree to an autopsy. This is something I have just finished having counseling about because I felt so guilty, please could you explain if as an undertaker your job is mad harder by a client having had this procedure. I live now in Holland but this all took place in England by a FANTASTIC funeral director who finally cared for dad. When I went to see him you could never have known what awful things had happened, he looked so peaceful. I think EVERYONE in your profession are marvelous people . Thank you for making these films, I have subscribed because I admire everything you and your colleagues do - THANK YOU ❤

exactly how we do it, we bring them in, make sure they have a mod pad, if not put one on them for dignity, check for purge etc then do the skin cream on the face, around eyes, measures for coffin size, for width we put there hands like clasped together(as like there at rest) and measure from elbow to the other for width and cover them and put a rose on top and safely away. then daily mortuary checks which our embalmer does, do you have an embalmer or do you use trade ones??

Very interesting sadly we will all go in a Private Ambulance and end up in a fridge at the end of our life’s. I think all things which exist will end as dust one day..

Evidently you aren't prone to claustrophobia! 😂. Even as a veteran undertaker it surely must have been unnerving when the door closed and you were envolved in stygian blackness! Had you done this with the fridge occupied you would elevated yourself to a KZread legend.
